No, through his plan, it would make it less accessible.

And you can't say, we'll if you can't afford to send them to school, don't have children. Because that is never going to happen, and is not realistic. Education is a necessity for any society to be successful, and the access to education is one of the top factors in determining the success of a society. It is in the public interest for us to have the best education, and give it to every child, and the only way to do that is through public means.
I don't think we need education reform. Unless you mean that we're going to unload a few thousand substandard teachers. Other than that, what's wrong with our education system?

Education pretty directly strengthens the country as a whole.

Trust me, people with children pay a lot of money to raise their offspring. Your comment of "people shouldn't have children if they can't afford to pay for them" is ridiculous. Remember that the kid's parents are already in the school tax pool. If you remove the elderly, the single, and the DINKs, the pool gets too small for school kid's parents to make up the difference.

Your poll didn't include one one-thousandth of one percent, so I had to stick with the status quo. All working citizens of the US have a vested interest in the education of our children as a whole. Pay your share or GTFO of the country. This isn't a Libertarian freedom that you are advocating, it's un-American greed.

Public schools must remain free to parents and children. It's tough to raise kids in this society. There's very little help from society. Find a method of financing other than user fees.

Horrible idea, society enters the picture here, and society has the responsibility and the benefits, from a well educated child..
The problem is the wealthy who are unwilling to pay their fair share, also, the education costs can be better controlled....more parental involvement and fewer administrators.

Alot is wrong with our education system, the fact that some kids can enter high school without being able to read is a major failure in the system itself. Also high school on the majority is a joke. It does not teach kids how to think critically, nor for themselves. The standards for passing are too low, and yes there are too many bad teachers.
