    Re: Dogs Vs. Cats

I've never had to fend off a cat wanting to jump in my lap immediately after he/she rolled around in a fresh pile of cow****.

The worst I have ever had to deal with from one of my cats is the occasional dead mouse/squirrel/rabbit they want to bring into the house. My neighbor's dog, until I started shooting him with a pellet gun, would routinely get into other people's garbage and drag ****ty diapers and all manner of other filth into my yard. Plus they like to bark at absolutely nothing at 2 o'clock in the freakin morning.

Cats are actually winning the poll? I thought dogs were the fan favorite.

The liberals are rigging the poll.

DD voted for dogs. Does that make him a conservative?

Dogs. I like cats okay, but dogs are much better pets, since they actually like you, rather than the bored indifference that you seem to get out of cats. It should be no surprise that the reason I like my wife's cat so much is because it is surprisingly doglike.

Cats are good if you get them as young kittens and train them. Of our current 3 cats, one is very doglike in that he just can't get enough attention. he always wants to be in someone's lap or sleeping on someone's bed. he was one of a litter born to a stray my daughter adopted that we have raised from birth. the other two are much more "catlike" in that they are very aloof. both are strays my daughter picked up from the local ASPCA.

we also have 3 ****eaters (aka dogs) two of which we raised from birth (pups from a litter our previous dog had) and the 3rd is a great pyrenees that just showed up in the yard one day and hung around. we tried for several weeks to find his rightful owner to no avail.

all 3 seem to be in some way mentally challenged. ranging from just a little slow to full blown retard.

LoL that actually reminded me of a cat that we had. That cat was so dumb that instead of climbing trees he would run head first into one. lol We named him "George" if that gives a hint. lol

I had a cat gave birth to some kittens(laying next to me as I was asleep till she started to yowl). One of the kittens when it got old enough to start running would climb the bed, run from the foot of the bed all out until she ran full speed into the headboard, would cry for a second, get up, run full out the other way until the flew off the end of the bed, cry, get up and start the process again. I named her Dopey.

She never did entirely get over it. She was scared to death of my brother, and when he would see her and start towards her she would take off running, hit a wall, take off again, bounce off his leg, run into the wall again, and then be caught.
