    Little Mosque on the Prairie

With Katie Couric's suggestion for a "Cosby" like television show in America to help the bigots understand Islam, the Canadian show "Little Mosque on the Prairie" was identified as a Canadian show that does just that.

Watch the clip - take the poll.

I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on whats being proposed here, hed agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute. - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

It's interesting that the rise of anti-islamic feeling in America didn't happen until Barack Obama became president.

This is one of the most ridiculous statements I've heard. Have you not lived in the US since 9/11?

I suppose you've been living in a different America than I have for the past decade.
I'm already gearing up for Finger Vote 2014.

Just for reference, means my post was a giant steaming pile of sarcasm.

Too ridiculous to give serious thought. . . whatever sells for entertainment, right?

The Cosby show was awesome - my absolute fav show as a kid! "I brought you into this world . . . and I'll take you out!"

Re: Little Mosque on the Prairie

I haven't watched the show. So I can not pick an option. The title alone sounds like a boring show mixed in with some liberal social and political commentary, but I haven't watched the show so I do not know.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

    Cicero Marcus Tullius
