He is still talking about dismantling the system based on private property in the first two paragraphs. The last....If I were designing a system from scratch, I would probably go ahead with a single-payer system...
Given that a lot of people work for insurance companies, a lot of people work for HMOs. Youíve got a whole system of institutions that have been set up. Why not single payer?

Make everyone pay for a service, then decide how to relieve them of the system some more.People donít have time to wait. They need relief now. So my attitude is letís build up the system we got, letís make it more efficient, we may be over timeóas we make the system more efficient and everybodyís coveredódecide that there are other ways for us to provide care more effectively.
