I think the request was for proof, not a statement of your opinion. Sources please?

As for Frank Marshall Davis: In another thread, cons are defending the right of a pedophile under the first amendment. But here, you attack a writer and activist you happen to disagree with, even though he was well within his first amendment rights. So it seems to me that conservatives haven't quite figured out that whole hypocrite thing, yet.

It's like cons and Saul Alinsky: Cons claim hatred for him, yet cons have been using his playbook since Nixon. They have you guys all messed up. Atwater, Rove, Luntz, Poindexter - bad bad bad.

    Re: Obama a radical?

Imo Obama is a leftist of the social justice variety who believes in using the federal govt. as a vehicle to move the country sharply to the left. He has succeeded. Now he will appear to move to the center, and wage a rearguard action to protect his accomplishments.

Is Obama a radical? In the universe of leftist idiocy Obama is not radical.

He's certainly not a radical -- if anything, he's far too willing to bow down to the demands of the other side. That's not to say that the other side doesn't have some good ideas -- but when he walks around like there's eggshells on the ground, he's certainly a poor radical, if one at all.

I watched that movie today because it was on Comedy Central.. and I was curious. I can't believe that's how Keanu got his start.

Some say he has never advanced beyond that.

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

You would be an idiot to not try to salvage whatever political capital you can.

Oh sure. About as likely as Sarah Palin finishing something she started.
