I'm good with the Wikipedia definition:

Neoconservatism is a political philosophy that supports using economic and military power to bring market liberalism, democracy, and human rights to other countries.[1][2][3] In economics, unlike paleoconservatives and libertarians, neoconservatives are generally comfortable with a limited welfare state; and, while rhetorically supportive of free markets, they are willing to interfere for overriding social purposes.[4]

Some really bigoted hard core (they think) right wingers (you know who you are) do use it as such. For example finishing off a post and saying "my left wing friend" is not a term of endearment, period.

It is a shame so many right wing people do this.

Not that it means much either way as the terms "Nazi" and "fascist" get thrown at conservatives all the time for no good reason.

Well.. I have heard people use the phrase "libtard" but it's confusing.. Are they talking about liberals or libertarians? It could be either.

Liberals. It means liberal. We do the same thing with conservatard. Lol. Always makes me laugh because the words sound funny.

I have coined a new word, "libertardian" so now we have a distinction

Oh, and here's a little additional piece. Anyone who chooses "No, I do not use it as an insult", will cause me to do a thorough search of their posts. I will then, for honesty's sake, post ANYTHING that seems to refute their claim that they do not use it to be insulting. Let's get a little honesty going here at DP.

    Go to it.
Nope, don't use it as an insult. Go ahead and go through my posts.
