North-east Europe doesn't exist in Middle Earth. Neither does France, curiously enough.

For some reason the Eskimos do, though, or maybe its something Finnish I don't know about.

It's almost like the map is aligorical of the cultural influences represented in LotR......

Except it doesn't work. Arnor is the Iberian peninsula? If the Portuguese-Spanish are anything, it is the Black Numenoreans. The Shire and Bree are possessions of Arnor, meaning Arnor is the British Isles.
