That map is clearly ridiculous. The Shire was not an island, nor was Bree.

Perhaps Frodo Baggins really lived, and there might be some historical truth to the events depicted in the Lord of The Rings. If someone has faith to that effect, who are you to deny their heartfelt beliefs? Fossilized plant matter found on a mountain in Eastern Europe may, some may say, be the remains of the lambas bread Frodo and Samwise Gamgee were reputed to have taken with them on their trip to Mordor. How can you argue with evidence like that? So, do you believe in Frodo as depicted in the Tolkien Gospels?
I do NOT believe in Frodo. I DO however believe in trolls. They show up here quite regularly. Disgusting, filthy, little creatures...most of them miserable in their own pathetic lives that they have to find ways to create threads to inspire angst in others. Luckily they are easily spotted and more easily dismissed.

And unfortunately sunlight does not always work against them.

But the light from the Ban hammer may!

Edit: Or offer them this job?

Screw that, we need top-of-the-line trolls for that.

North-east Europe doesn't exist in Middle Earth. Neither does France, curiously enough.

For some reason the Eskimos do, though, or maybe its something Finnish I don't know about.

Gondor has a gay color as expected. They probably passed Don't Ask, Don't Spell.

Except it doesn't work. Arnor is the Iberian peninsula? If the Portuguese-Spanish are anything, it is the Black Numenoreans. The Shire and Bree are possessions of Arnor, meaning Arnor is the British Isles.
