FOX and MSNBC

Is Fox news bias and obviously leans right? Yes/No

These things are so obvious, so a no vote results..
The wealthy people in America are best represented by R Murdoch(Fox); but, I am not positive at all as to who owns, supports MSNBC.
More people should follow NPR or PBS, at times its highly educational.

I enjoy some of the scientific programs PBS puts out, but NPR self-censors to the max.

I know these topics have been beat to death but Im picking the two obvious blatant learners so it makes it easier to gauge the people Im talking too. But I gotta do it one at a time

Is Fox news bias and obviously leans right? Yes/No

FOX is unique in that it actually gives the right more than lip service, and put more than the odd RINO on their shows against 2 or 3 Libs... as the others do. It is why "Fair and Balanced" is more than a mere slogan, it is accurate... and it really pisses off those used to a decades old left wing media monopoly.

If you compare FOX to the JournOlists at other networks, they seem right leaning... because the others (AMMP*) are propagandists for the left, and downright hostile to the right.

that is the point it is supposed to be obvious, the answer is obvious but if a person chooses to it allows people to actually vote how the feel and man up and defend their stance.

It also allows me and other to get a feel for what type of poster you are, for me personally, anyone that answers no on either question Fox or MSNBC is obviously bias or dishonest and I instantly know where they are coming from.

You could also see ( or guess would be more accurate) the people that feel the answer is no but are too scared to say no so they answers yes. BUT then go on to post how not bias said network is which is very entertaining.

So while I agree the this FOX poll and the MSNBC poll are obvious they are telling also :)

maybe you should go back and read the OP again and see the part where it says I had to do one poll at a time:laughat:

the other one is here http://www.debatepolitics.com/polls/87873-fox-and-msnbc-2-a.html

oooooops

:wcm

A... you apparently forgot you can do a multiple choice poll which allows more than a single answer to be selected, which would have allowed all the possible choices in it for both FOX and MSNBC.

B... You failed/forgot to address the grammar in that OP.

and has I already pointed out he was mistakenly wrong with a bias knee jerk reaction :)

mistakenly wrong? That's a double negative. And how was I bias? By questioning your grammatic skills, or by asking why you screwed up so badly in setting up the poll?

She's obviously a socialist. Her criticism of the capitalist economy, when carried to its obvious conclusion, advocates workers controlling the means of production to make goods not for profit, but rather for utility. Quickly, someone burn her.

Yep, this is what our kids are being taught.

normal objective people judge from the middle not from something made up
this poll about Fox and the one about MSNBC is gauged from the middle like anything should be lol
anything else you want to MAKE UP feel free as thats your right but the question was NOT does FOX/MSNBC obviously lean right/left compared to other networks the question is does FOX/MSNBC obviously lean right/left compared to REALITY that is the only question presented here ;)

mistakenly wrong is a double negative?
so I guess you were purposely wrong then LMAO
the poll is fine, man up and answer or dont :)

also I was judging your knee jerk reaction. Yes it seems biased to me that you ASSumed there was no other poll, obviously didnt read the OP and jumped to to a wrong conclusion.

Could I be wrong with my judgment, of course but it seems to be a safe one currently

I admit im a terrible typer and both my grammar and spelling suffers because of it but if you are such a grammar professor you'd know that your above post is full of errors also LOL so maybe leave that part out and try not to deflect because its no more than the pot calling the kettle black :)

A if I made it that way Id have to allow muiltiple choice and idiots would just vote for both
B I did in another post already but its my typing more than anything else. Also FYI yours isnt exactly up to par either which you showed in another thread.

regardless these are all strawmen, man up and vote if you havent yet LOL

Perhaps you'd care to point out the many grammatic errors in my post?

As for 'mistakenly wrong'...

Mistakenly is the past participle (a verb form indicating past or completed action) of mistake. The definition of mistake is wrong. So, you said I was wrongly wrong, or wrong wrong. Double negative. Any grade school teacher would be happy to explain it to you, if you ask them nicely.

the second grade teacher would tell me "mistakenly" is an adverb in my sentence and wouldn't be a double negative

go to Dictionary and Thesaurus - Merriam-Webster Online and type in "grammatic" you wont find it, you may however find grammatical, grammatic could easily be argued as slang or improper, you could find it in unabridged, public and wiki dictionaries though

Merriam Webster, Encarta, and Cambridge among others will not have it

Also you had a sentence "And how was I bias? By questioning your grammatic skills, or by asking why you screwed up so badly in setting up the poll?"

This is just a matter of debate and opinion but some scholars argue you shouldnt start a sentence with "and". Next there shouldnt be a "?" after bias, it should be a comma otherwise you force a fragment. "By questioning your grammatic skills, or by asking why you screwed up so badly in setting up the poll?" couldn't stand alone so that would make it a fragment.

you're welcome

strawmen aside did you man up and vote yet? LMAO

nice job!!

ROTFLMFAO... Seems MSNBC has stolen 7 viewers from CNN!

MSNBC leads CNN 18 viewers to 15 now!

http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2010/12/15/cnn-sees-primetime-lows-in-2010/75680

CNN’s woes worsened this year. Despite the somewhat bogus total reach-touting, the network hit primetime ratings lows (or at least going back to 1997, which is all we could dig up data for) for total viewers and viewers 25-54. Not to pile on, but…

* MSNBC will beat CNN for the first time EVER in 2010 in Total Day with A25-54

* MSNBC will beat CNN in Primetime with P2+ in 2010 for the first time ever

* MSNBC will beat CNN in Primetime with A25-54 for the second year in a row

.

Your poll options should ask if you actually watch FOX news or MSNBC news. Because I have to wonder how many of these people actually watch it verses just parroting what others have said.

Thats actually a very good point jamesrage, I can only answer for myself but I watch mainly CNN then FOX, the MSNBC then PBS(which is like watching paint dry) I also watch the other ones along with the local versions of them CBS,NBC etc etc but in lower doses.

I also listen to Quinn & Rose, Rush, Beck daily and sometimes Savage on the radio but unlike some other people I get that the radio shows are purely entertainment and not to be taking seriously their bias and lies are very obvious and they are there for ratings and entertainment nothing to get emotional about.

anyway like I said solid point james now if were were talking about stations that actually do have some middle leanings it might be an issue but with FOX and MSNBC the correct answer should be obvious.

Fox obviously leans a little to the right.

MSNBC (and most other networks) obviously lean at least a little left.

This does not offend me. I don't believe true "objectivity" exists; there are those who admit their bias, and those who hide it.

I agree and im just going to highlight and bold some key points you made that everyone should embrace

they both OBVIOUSLY have their leanings and acknowledging this shouldn't offend anybody

I see the point of the thread and the answer is obviously yes. Anybody that answered no based on their honest opinion of actually watching, is a dishonest quack and can instantly be written off a totally biased partisan jack hole. :)

Funny that this poll got spammed just like the gay rights poll gets spammed?
Man those rascally "extreme" righties they really get us all good dont they. :)

real poll results are 98% yes

Answer: the top option.

That out of the way . . .

Repeat after me (*ahem*):

I will not use "bias" as an adjective.

I will not use "bias" as an adjective.

I will not use "bias" as an adjective.

There's a whole generation which needs this lesson.

Noun
Do they have a bias against women?

Adjective
That was a bias vote.

Adverb
I heard that he will vote bias.

Verb
I dont want to bias you against the bill, but I personally think its terrible.

just saying:shrug:
