Miracle on 34th Street because I haven't seen it in so long.
I'm really tired of a Christmas Story, or I would have picked that.
Catawa is my favorite bleeding heart liberal.

    Re: Christmas Movies!

Being very old school and a hardcore fan of Frank Capra my vote goes to ITS A WONDERFUL LIFE. I imagine lots of this is generational and the folks who only think film was invented in their lifetime will opt for the garbage of the last two decades. I remember when I first saw HOME ALONE on HBO - I was rooting for the two burglars to break in and administer a long an painful death to the brat. I would pay to see that sequel.

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

    HOME ALONe for sure.
Nationalism in high dosages may be hazardous to your health. Please consult a psychiatrist before beginning a regular regimen, and if feelings of elitism and douchbaggery continue, discontinue immediately before you become unable to do so on your own.

"A Christmas Story" (Just a tradition any more)
"National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" (putting the 'fun' in dysfunctional)
"It's A Wonderful Life" (who doesn't wonder the same thing George does...)
Fool me once, shame on you.
    Fool me twice....shame on me.
