Well, I was, but I got a "we haz Black Friday ultra-super-epic-deals" email from Newegg - and since I needed a new monitor, and one was on sale...

    But that wasn't really "shopping".

Seems you guys have a healthier tradition.
Why the hell do you guys only have to remember 1 number 3 times to call an ambulance, whereas we must remember 1 number once and another number twice - and in a specific order, too.

Your way is far less confuziling.

The thing is that I typically try to avoid the big ticket items, because to a degree, it will be utterly pointless. For the most part, I am far more interested in online shopping of televisions, for example, throughout specific pockets throughout the year (there are points at which manufacturers just try to deplete stock of an older television right before releasing the next model...there are also sales from online retailers). It can be a virtual race to the finish, sure, but I think you can get better deals many more times during the year, and still keep your arm without it being bitten off by a rabies-infested Soccer Mom or even the dreaded Zombie-Nun-Shopper.

Last, I believe there was a security guard who was run over by a bunch of people trying to get inside.

He shouldn't have been standing there.

    No, seriously.

I would have used a rope tied to the door handle, or something...

I'm assuming he was opening the doors...

Well, I can't really tell you how it happened. But, I was watching the news a security was run over and killed by people rushing to get inside. Especially in this tough time where people are struggling.

Well if they are struggling maybe they shouldnt buy anything in the 1st place! You have to be a ****ing animal to run another human over and not help them ESPECIALLY when the stampede is caused by a freakin' item on sale!!!
