Well regarding the Indians and settlers from Europe...... yes. Regarding what they ate. And how the Indians were MADE to be.... yes. In reality we ran over the Indians.... lide to them. Kicked them in the ass every which way we could. Honestly thats the one thing that sticks out. Im quite sure there are many more things that reality of brushed over. I am ashamed at how Americans take for granted how we as a Country got to where we are right now.
There was a large amout of dishonorable things done to many minorities. Most of that has now been made right. Some, not so much. Some minorities havent recovered and now are a MAJOR problem to the economy and safety to others.

I vaguely remember that the value of the dollar has something to do with the size of our gold reserves, and that inflation is what you get by printing more money without increasing the size of the reserves.

Bingo

The Republicans clearly represent conservative, small-government values, whereas the Democrats clearly represent liberal, big-government values.

Republicans are all about individual freedom and Democrats are all about the government telling you what to do.

The United States never lost a war. Vietnam doesn't count because it was technically a "conflict."

Columbus discovered America.

Mostly right on. War is conflict of the very worst kind. We had absolutely no business trying to accomplish what the French couldn't do, all in the name of keeping the dirty Commies from over running SE Asia. How did that work out? 58000+ dead?

The civil war was all about slavery. Lincoln didn't actually take up the cause of emancipation until after he realized he wasn't making enough political hay to go after the south without it.

The Lincoln Myth Keepers have done an excellent job in this, eh. The peccadillos of Mr Lincoln are conveniently overlooked.

Defending yourself is morally wrong.

Seems mostly to be a modern day phenomenon.

I was taught multiple times about how Communism is evil and how "it is good in theory but bad in practice" without even laying it out. Funny thing is I was taught that last year... Hmm, World War 1 was a useful war. Probably a lot more I can't think of right now..
