Exactly, and they are the ones who decided the mid-terms.

Yeah, that doesn't make them loyal though. The GOP is going to have to raise the debt ceiling. That is likely to be brought up in 2012 elections.

Depends on what happens in the next two years and who runs against Pres.BHO

If Mayor Bloomberg runs I will seriously consider voting for Mike.

I think you are completely wrong. There is no better spokesperson for the GOP today than Palin

Are you republican? You keep insisting this, so I'm wondering if you know something the rest of us don't.

It seems more likely that he wants Palin as spokesperson for the GOP because in his opinion, she'll harm rather than help it – and at that, more harm than any other possible spokesperson.

And since he is not a republican (or so it seems)...

“There is no better spokesperson for the GOP today than Palin”.

That’s my guess, based partially on having heard other opponents of the republicans make similar statements.

No I'm not a Republican...but I do follow politics a lot. The problem with the GOP has been that they really haven't had great avenue to get their message across.
Sarah Palin is a godsend to the Republican party. She has done more to energize a stagnant party than anyone in the last decade. She has the ear of the Republican base and would by far be the best candidate that the GOP could field in 2012. The rest of the sad lot represent the old failed GOP. They are stagnant and boring. Sarah Palin brings energy and ideas to the party. The old establishment know this and will try to shut her down, which is why it is up to the people of the GOP to speak up and support Sarah Palin for the GOP nod.

It's too early to tell. A lot can change in 2 years.
