YESSSSS DAVID TENNANT TO THE DEATH!!!!!!!!!! God I love the Doctor too. He's easily the most incredibly fictional character in existence, and the most capable too. I love the idea of a lone person silently, selflessly helping thousands and millions of people across time too

Never heard of it, but strangely enough -- noticed it was "deal of the day" on amazon. Entire series for $60 (today only).

Oh I loved the show! Watched it faithfull - a few episodes of Red Dwarf backed with a good MST3K flick = Sunday night HEAVEN!

sorta but not really. It was a moonbase which suffered a nuclear explosion that knocked the moon out of earth orbit and sent it spinning to outer space.

I bought the box set a few years ago.. was crap so returned it. was much better when I first saw it as a 5 year old.

I find it sad that what was built up during Russell T Davies was somewhat taken apart last season with Steven Moffat. Most of the emotion and character build-up of The Doctor was removed. Now he is just a smart guy that travels through space and time. He is now a 2 dimensional character.

I couldn't get into Red Dwarf. It struck me as little more than a sitcom set in space, rather than in an apartment building like Seinfeld.

I prefer SciFi that takes itself at least halfway seriously. That wasn't sci-fi, it was comedy.
