You can't prove there is not voter fraud. You are asking that we take it on faith that there is not.
Why would you be against showing ID? The extra money it would cost is BS. People could have their ID ready. There is no need that it should cost anything.

    Good idea (rolling eyes).
Of course it is. Its a last minute reminder after the newspapers, television and radio already informed that they would need to bring an ID to vote.

A few extra seconds? will add up over the day. In addition to dealing with other problems.
Out of curiosity how many voters go through your polling place in a high turn out election for a period of 12 hours?

Of course they will comply or they will not vote. It will still take extra time.
If they miss the deadline due to not bringing their ID then they will learn.

But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

Somehow I get this image of lots of conservatives with their eyes tightly shut and their fingers crossed in front of their chins repeating over and over and over again
"I do believe in voter fraud, I do I do I do".
And for them, sadly that is enough.

I rememver after 200o and 2004 liberals were claiming that voter fraud and election fraud were going on. But yet you all seem to be opposed to anything that would help prevent or cut down on voter fraud. The fact that it would be extremely hard or almost impossible to prove or disprove I would think you libs would be on board with ID checks and other measures to help prevent voter fraud.

Then it is a logically unsound idea. Gödel is not involved here.

Not being a liberal, I cant speak for them, but I WOULD be in favor of ID checks if there was a demonstrable need for them.
