This poll, and other stupid **** reminds me why I quit posting on this forum for a month or two. Some of you are just horrible people and should be ashamed of yourselves.
"We’re going to close the unproductive tax loopholes that allow some of the truly wealthy to avoid paying their fair share. In theory, some of those loopholes were understandable, but in practice they sometimes made it possible for millionaires to pay nothing, while a bus driver was paying ten percent of his salary, and that’s crazy." -Reagan

Yeah I decided to visit again after some time away and now I remember why.

    Goodbye again.

I always look for your posts. Yours is one of the few voices that calms me down about American democracy.

Not quite as simple as that, I met similar evangelicals when I worked in West Africa many years ago. The local Nigerian and Ghanaian evangelicals were scary people with horrible views but their views were "balanced" on the other side by some similar radical Muslims.

I never got invited to radical Muslim gatherings but I did go out of curiosity to the evangelical meetings where pamphlets were handed out - mostly funded and printed in the US. I wouldn't blame the US for this - the OP is particularly a Uganda affair and the worrying thing is that this movement in Uganda has support in some areas of the Uganda Govt.

Hate the sin, not the sinner. That is murder, and should not be tolerated. Granted, I am against the sin of homosexuality, but I don't blieve people should be hurt or killed over it. o_O"

I agree. The double standard I find not only disgusting, but I also view it as a phenomenon.

    And Jesus wept.
That would be a twisting of the scriptures. Homosexuality is a perverse sin. Christians should be able to preach against it because we follow our faith; if we twist and change the Bible continuously it will eventually have no meaning nor any trace of what it was meant to be.
