I haven't tried pot but I could give two tosses if it is legal. I prefer it legal and regulated than illegal and a black market forming. It's not going into my body.
That view is enforced by the simple fact alcohol is legal. If Alcohol was made illegal then weed shouldn't
Marijuana for me, I dont like alot of alcohol especially being a pharmacology student.
Definately booze for me. Tried pot a few times and it never did much of anything for me. Plus alcohol can be enjoyed moderately. I can have a glass of wine with my wife for dinner, or do a shot with my brother when we're playing cards, or have a mixed drink or two when I'm out at a bar or club and not get hammered. You smoke weed, you're getting high. It's kinda the sole point of weed.
Though, for those talking about weed being laced with other things you're not aware of. Legalization would easily remove that possibility. Just one more reason why forcing something people are always going to want onto the blackmarket sucks.

I've only tried alcohol and never plan to ever try weed. I've also never tried cigarettes or cigars. Smoking anything just seems like a very bad idea to me, plus, pretty much all those things smell completely awful. Along with this, pot is illegal and it is not allowed while in the military. Even the reserves have drug tests. Finally, I really just don't want to use it or any other drug for that matter. I generally can't stand to take otc meds and absolutely hate Rx meds.
I really don't drink a lot of alcohol, and anytime I do I regret it enough to not do it again for at least a couple of years. I stick to about 1 drink a day max, but usually have 1 every month or two.

Keep your religion out of other people's marriages.
Doesn't surprise me at all that the majority of people would choose the far more dangerous substance...It's the laws fault though.
I use a lot of satire and sarcasm so keep that in mind when reading my posts.
