    Does Society Act?

We all know that individuals act, but does society act?

Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? And who shall stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false, and does not swear deceitfully. Psalm 24

WTF is with the third poll option?

And, since individuals ARE society, yes.

    Those aren't individuals acting?

    No.

Individuals are the - pun intended - individual members of a group or groups.

    Thus, they are society.

IMO, any actions that a group makes are simply a group of individuals acting in concert.

    Re: Does Society Act?

Society is simply a collection of individuals, so certainly when a group of individuals act, society acts.

Not sure why this is a question.
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.

Then it's not the group acting, it's the individuals.

The study of sociology necessarily depends on it, as does the idea of classes.
