Though it is the "science fiction" approach to history (ie, Fairy Tales), many biographers are not so confident that Trotsky would have entirely escaped the vulgarities of the Soviet experience.
 
I said YES simply because anything can be compared to Hitler these days. Hell theres a website that compares cats to Hitler.

Russia was in a bad situation. I dont think there was a realistic way for them to fight ze germans and not fold without bloody internal strife and some sortof economic revolution of some sort. So yeah.
 
Thing is, we have no ****ing clue how bad it was under Hitler except what we read and what we see in fictional movies or news reels from the time. Want to know what living under Hitler was like? Go talk to someone who lived through it. What you'll find is the comparison is beyond idiotic to even comprehend. Statements comparing the tea party to Hitler are born out of ignorance and fear.
