Safe to say this lady is quite the character, my worst nightmare has come true as there is indeed more than one Sarah Palin and they can even be dumber!!

1- She dabbled into witch craft, dabbled being the key word here people. She only wet her beak shall we say. Never went all the way plus she was in high school. As she said who doesn't hang out with an satanists who carry out blood sacrifices on a blood alter during their mischievous teen years?

2-She believes scientists are cross breeding humans and rats, leading to rats with human brains...I wonder if she was indeed a member of one of these experiments but ended up a human with a rats brain?

"They are -- they are doing that here in the United States. American scientific companies are cross-breeding humans and animals and coming up with mice with fully functioning human brains. So they're already into this experiment."

3- Against Masturbation....this one speaks for itself :lamo

4- She is a YEC (young earth creationist). She believes that the Earth is indeed only a few thousand years old and that dinosaurs were planted by Satan to deceive us.

I think this tea party has just come to a point where regardless of whether you are right or left you have to say "this is getting out of hand". The Tea Party will not receive the respect it desires from both sides if this is who they back and want to run our government. Sarah Palin backed her, how on Earth is that a wise political move if you are going to run for POTUS in 2010.

To the right-that she probably won't win

To the Left-that she might

None of the above.
What is most concerning to me is her illegal use of campaign contributions to support herself for the past several years.
I imagine once evidence is collected and reviewed, she'll be disqualified from running, and will face charges.
The "concerning" part is that her supporters don't seem very concerned about this eventuality.

CHRISTINE O'DONNELL: Well, creationism, in essence, is believing that the world began as the Bible in Genesis says, that God created the Earth in six days, six 24-hour periods. And there is just as much, if not more, evidence supporting that.

O'Donnell the Young Earth Creationist : Dispatches from the Culture Wars

Wow.

Basically anyone who holds a belief that requires water to sort items by complexity rather then size, shape, angle of entry and mass should not hold national office capable of influencing science.

I think the Republicans should have pushed away from her, I mean this lady is absolutely pathetic in terms of intelligence and experience. It's a double edged sword though, I remember that video of the liberal congressman expressing his concern that Guatemala would capsize if they put any more people on it.

This is why everyone needs to vote, to keep morons like this out!

Not quite.

The right, as evident by Rove, is afraid of the trend of Tea Party primaries. If people like O'Donnell become the standard of ideological purity, then the GOP risks its future in general elections. It will be interesting to see if the string of Palin nominated crazies cost the GOP the Senate and possibly even the House.

The left, well, probably not afraid of her per se. Castle had a good chance at winning that seat. Now it's pretty much a done deal that the Democrats will hold it. If anything, in an election perspective, they are happy. The Tea Party made is even harder for the GOP to take the Senate. But from a demographic sense, the fact that there was enough primary voters to choose a candidate like O'Donnell as an actual candidate for Congress is frightening.

LOL Rove. What he sowed so shall he reap. The panic on the man's face when he was defending himself on FoxNews was priceless. He was more worried about the RNC and started his own fund raising group to bypass them. I don't think he realized the funding going to the tea party was far more than either he or the RNC could raise and they had a head start on him.

The thing that concerns me, is that if the crazies take the house they're going to spend the next two years investigating Obama's birth certificate at taxpayer expense. But yes, I think the GOP knows they will definitely lose in 2012, if the crazies take a majority in either the house and/or senate this election. But they can still do a lot of damage in that time, especially with spineless Dems and president cowtowing to their every whim.

None of those, though those things don't help her cause, because neither of those bode well for her intelligence. It's her views on the issues, and what she would do as a member of congress. That is what scares me the most.

all four of those options have one root cause. Stupidity. I fear stupidity in power.

Ya when I heard her mom may have been living off campaign funds, and her own personal financial problems, that got me nervous.

How about an All of the above and then some option?

On a broader scale, I wonder if anyone can point me to a single "Tea Party" candidate that is running now on the Repub ticket for national office, that doesn't have fringer, nutcase issues? I seriously doubt that any of them will survive the general election. When you lean so far to the right you're on the verge of tipping over, winning a rightie primary is one thing, getting people who think you should be kept in a rubber room to vote for you, is quite another.

The fact that she believes in withcraft at all is probably the most frightening thing about her.

That, and my relatives in Delaware probably voted for her, and I share their DNA.

no vote, as this "poll" is controlled by the originater..
YEC?
The use of oddball acronyms is disrespectful.

What is most disturbing is that she is getting so much attention.

That the sheeple embrace this, even with a shyt-ingesting smile, is scary.
And what Mr Asimov has to say is well said..

You should have said "disrespectful oddball acronyms", instead.

That way we could call them a D.O.A

DOA = dead on arrival
I was correct in the first place.
I'm also a charter member of AATUOEA.
And I know now what YEC means.....to think I believed this at one time...lol...
Both candidates and voters should take intelligence tests as a prerequistite.....

All of those and more. She's a ****ing nutcase. I thought Palin was bad, jesus christ... this woman makes Palin look almost appealing.

I'd rather have her than the other competition. Plus, we need more YEC believers in politics.

I missed the whole brouhaha over the witchcraft thing, so can someone explain why it's such a huge issue? It seems like the bulk of controversies surrounding her come from things that happened in the 90's.

My take on it is the fact that she thinks its worth something to even bring up speaks to her intelligence. Ultimately, her attitude should be like yours, "who cares? its a silly youth thing," but instead she seemed to take it seriously.
