I think a lot of us grew up in the 80s. Choose your favorite kids' show! (Sorry if I miss your favorite.)

Eee. I'm suddenly feeling very old.

Pardon me while I go take my Geritol.

An 80's kid show -- you mean like the ones I used to watch with my first born?

I grew up in the 90's, but if I had to choose a show on that list it would be Mr. Rogers. I loved that show as a kid.

Though I must add that 90's Nickelodeon kicked some major ass.

This is the first thread in a long time that has made me feel young. :2razz:

I rocked out to TMNT, Ducktales, and David the Gnome.

TMNT? EDIT: I just figured it out! I should've put that on the list.
Ducktales....whoooo oooh! (Loved that one too.)
I don't remember David the Gnome.

Another collection of some all-time greats:

Chip&Dale4eva

Also Ghostbusters - Serious flashbacks to being a little kid in department stores with my parents. I would run around and pretend those little round metal things on the ground that covered up electric sockets were actually those traps that you threw out there to catch ghosts. good times.

How could you forget the Smurfs? I mean, James Cameron just made a feature length 3-D smurf movie!

Thundercats was my favorite show growing up in the 80s, although I hated the time it came on because I could only watch half of it and then I had to go to school. My other favorites were GI Joe, Silver Hawks,TigerSharks(thundercats clone), Transformers, He-Man,C.O.P.S., and Go-Bots(generic transformers).

Four words... TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES! I see a bunch of people are giving you crap for not including this show or that show, but how could you forget THAT one?? :naughty

Without a doubt, Masters of the Universe.

Screw the smurfs, thats what TLC is for with their midget shows.

HEY...I'm a girl. I didn't watch boy shows. Lay off me.

I do remember playing TNMT on Nintendo with my brother. I always wanted to be Leonardo.

The TMNT NES game was extremely difficult. I do not have fond memories of that game.

Thundercats...Cheetara was smokin'

My oldest son loved "David and the Gnomes" when he was little. and then came the 90s with those lame assed Saban shows: Power Rangers and BeetleBorgs :blah:

Dude, David the Gnome... dude!!!

David the Gnome was ghey.
I would fall almost fall asleep with that on.

That's the purpose of kid shows, to make you fall asleep.
But sometimes nostalgia makes you think that awful shows were good shows, so who cares.
