I can't say that there is much to be afraid of. This is a pretty awesome and robust country.

Yes, that's the one. Thanks for letting me know that it was overturned on appeal. But that makes it no less a concern. How long before a case makes it to the Supreme Court on the basis of Sharia Law being followed and thus it's a religious freedom concern? I also found it interesting that a Michigan high school changed its football practices to 11 PM to 4 AM during Ramadan.

As I said, it's a "concern." I think it's a reasonable one. When the goal of some Islamic fundamentalists is to impose Sharia Law upon the world, I think we're wise to be vigilant and concerned.

    None of those, actually.

I'm concerned about the people who take their religion, law and faith to the extreme, then believe that if they die in the process of preserving their faith they're blessed - and show no qualms with deeming others 'deserving of death' and then playing God and dealing out that death.

    Sadly, probably most of them....

I think that it is easier to cater to mans fears than it is to understand and respect him.

FDR is the one who should have been feared.

I'm already gearing up for Finger Vote 2014.

Just for reference, means my post was a giant steaming pile of sarcasm.

A common misconception among conservative talk radio listeners...

Like the Nazis were liberals and Clinton caused 9/11.

And, it strikes me that you believe that non-taxpayers should not be allowed to vote.

More afraid of radical right wingers taking power based on fear of Islam and other "things" and turning the US into a fascist state.
