Sure, it's Europe. But a single fanatic caved in the entire world. Many people believe in Samuel Huntington's "Clash of Civilizations." I happen to. What fanatic's senseless activity will cave us in? Let's start by needlessly offending a mass of people who haven't offended us. In the mean time, we dance around the fire and foolishly call it our right.
Gee.
Pay attention to where I said it was going to explode anyway.
Also, Europe isn't "the entire world". There was never a good reason for the US to get involved. Japan and the Far East remained aloof. South America was never bothered by that silliness. It was a dying gasp of imperialism and it should have been left for the dying empires to deal with.
Oh, and by the way, offence cannot be given, it must be accepted.
And, finally, it's been our fight since PanAm Flight 103 was blown up. Americans died on that plane, including 22 students from Syracuse University.
It was our fight when the muslims attacked the World Trade Center in 1993.
It was still our fight when the Khobar Towers were bombed in Saudi Arabia in 1996.
It was still our fight when Al Qaeda attacked three embassies in Kenya in on the same day in 1998.
It most certainly was our fight when jihadists floated a canoe laden with exlosives against the hull of the USS Cole in Yemen in 2000.
Needless to say, it was our fight when even more cowardly terrorists murdered thousands of American civillians on September 11, 2001.
And all of the above was done in the name of Islam. And you're pretending to be a miliary man and saying that free people should refrain from insulting the animals that do what I just listed?
No. America won't remain a free nation if we cower at the thought of offending the people who murder our citizens.
And bigger retaliation ensues after bigger retaliation and bigger retaliation. And it all started because we as a free people weren't responsible enough to handle our freedoms more wisely and smack our own fanatics down. Of course, plenty that6 get sucked into the blood shed will simply accise the other of not being responsible enough to handle needless and senseless insults. In the end, a religious fantatic is a ****ing fanatic. Right now, Christianity has the upper hand. This can easily be changed by these very few.
No. You're not foolish enough to actually imply we started anything. That's clearly some flaw in your ability to express yourself.
