I have done a lot of work with the Jerry Springer type crowd...and so to my great discredit I will freely admit to watching at least a few episodes of Jerry Springer. Heres an observance...there are an awful lot of chippy little bitches in the crowd that talk tough and act tough...but the only reason they do is they KNOW that the security there will keep them from actually getting hurt. Same with the prisons...when the scared straight program was used the teenage thugs smirked and laughed because they knew at the end of the day they got to go home. Now...just how firmly would they have stood by their conviction if they had to spend the night...the lights went out and the cell doors went clank...and they faced the very real prospect of having their rectal temperature taken by a hardened inmate?
So go to all the places you'd be killed eh? That's how they prove their resolve? Intentionally doing something that gets them killed? Of course people here are more brazen because they know they'll be protected. Good! They should be! Why should you be made to suffer for the exercise of your rights? Why would you even suggest that they have to go to a place nearly guaranteed to make them suffer for the exercise of their rights? It's pretty lame. It's like saying you aren't going to take women activists seriously unless they preach about equality in Saudi Arabia or WeHateFreeWomen-astan. You can still have a valid point without the threat of physical violence against your person.

Because they ****ing can. Because, this is still land of the free for now; and we are free to be as stupid as we like so long as we don't infringe upon the rights of others in the process.

Not only no, but HELL NO!

Anyway, I agree with the post above.

AUSTAN GOOLSBEE: I think the world vests too much power, certainly in the president, probably in Washington in general for its influence on the economy, because most all of the economy has nothing to do with the government.

The retarded pastor doesn't realise that burning the Qu'ran is actually not the worst thing that can occur to the Qu'ran.

Burning till ash is infact a more respectful way to dispose of Allah's words. A way that many Muslims use, remove certain words/texts and burn till ashes. That or covering it in white cloth and burying it deep and far away from where humans walk or tying it with something heavy and sending it in the ocean.

    Oh the fools.
They are disposing it in a way I would my Qu'ran

If they wanted to offend ... all they needed to do was stand on the Qu'ran .... or putting a dog near it, oh my god if they did that
That would be more horrifying than burning to me and I would be pissed off about that.

A good case is being made to tax churches and mosques the same as any other political group. .

Not really, as churches and mosques are religious groups, not political ones.

Indeed. If you have even the slightest hint of a spine...then yes. Otherwise you are a snippy little yapppy mutt that runs and hides under the bed if anyone stomps their foot at you.

Re: Are you going to burn a Koran?

If I were to find one of these trashy "books", I would read it, a little, and quickly tire of its message, and in a fit of anger, may even burn it. But, then I would also burn my other pornography...
Obviously, burning is not the way to go.

So if you have the slightest hint of a spine, you will go to a country which is extremely hostile to your beliefs and ideology and preach/demonstrate in front of them. Otherwise you're a snippy little yappy mutt eh?

Tell me, you been to Tiananmen Square preaching the libertarian political ideology? I mean, if not then you must be a spineless snippy yappy mutt that runs and hides under the bed when anyone stomps their foot at you. Right? So I'm sure you went there with all your guns and stood there talking about oppressive governments, the free rights and liberties of the individual, probably even pulled out a weapon or two in demonstration of your right to keep and bear arms. Right? Cause you have at least a slightest hint of a spine, right?

    Is that a fact.??
No, it is not, there is a fine line between religion and politics as it is; many of these organization have crossed it.
