Perhaps we should restrict the right of Jews from boarding any USS? After all, it was a Jewish government that blew up the USS Liberty. Or how about restricting ANY churches from being constructed near an abortion clinic? I believe in individual human rights. You believe in censorship.

Ummm it's already established fact that the government has the authority to restrict access to US naval vessels, so what's your point?

Ya it was a case of friendly fire.

No. There was nothing friendly about Israel's unjustified attack on the USS Liberty, a properly flagged US naval electronics surveillance ship in the region. The attack happened in daylight, the ship had been in the area for several days, and the US simply was not engaged in any offensive military actions.

Nope, the Israelis never apologized for those murders, and that's one thing no US naval veteran should forgive them for.

I don't think your right to speech should be censored, but please don't ever support ANY sort of governmental restriction to prevent the construction of the mosque.

Explain the logical basis for the presence of community zoning boards.

Explain the logical basis for the United States Antiquities Act.

I fully support the opposition to the construction of a temple to martyrdom (Explain the meaning of the phrase "Cordoba House") at the site of the worst act of martydom in modern history.

The condemnation and seizure of the site of the Temple to Martyrs is perfectly consistent with the Fifth Amendment, and in no way inhibits anyone's freedom to build Temples to Martyrdom elsewhere, thus there's no infringement of the First Amendment. The national interest served by invoking eminent domain is the denial to the enemy of a public relations coup on US soil.

Any further debate with you is futile.

Can you explain why the self-defense actions of a US destroyer against a potentially hostile aircraft emerging from a war zone is relevant to the construction of a Temple to Martyrs on Ground Zero?

Because I and MANY people (like other muslims in America, and quite a few democrats) disagree that placing the mosque there, that isnt QUITE the same thing as denying them their constitutional rights...now is it?

Whether you, or MANY people (like other Muslims in America, and quite a few democrats) or Teabaggers or Republicans or Independents or mental patients disagree or not is irrelevant. The OWNERS of the property have every RIGHT to use it for whatever LEGAL and ZONING CODE COMPLIANT purpose they choose, yours or MANY people (like other Muslims in America, and quite a few democrats) or Teabaggers or Republicans or Independents or mental patient's approval is not required, no matter how much bitching, moaning, whining, you do. CLEARLY you know jack squat about the Constitution or you would be aware of the Equal Protection Clause and wouldn't make such pointless and completely absurd statements.

Dude...pull it out...breathe a little bit. I, like many democrats and muslims DISAGREE with it being placed there. I DISAGREE with lots of things. I DISAGREE with the BCS. Im not advocating they be DENIED the right to build the mosque there. WORLD of difference...CORRECT?

The ship was not where it was supposed to be, the ship looked exactly like an Egyptian ship, and it's impossible to see a flag from a fighter jet traveling at speed.

Israeli communications captured by the NSA prove that they believed it was an Arab ship even after the attack had ceased.

Nope, the Israelis never apologized for those murders, and that's one thing no US naval veteran should forgive them for.

Meh meh accident caused by the fog of war. Move along.

And I disagree with you disagreeing. So freakin' what? Or does the right to speak ones opinion end when you have said your piece?

So, why don't you "Dude...pull it out...breathe a little bit" and place your condescending rubbish in the appropriate container?

Its hard NOT to be condescending when people equate disagreeing with someone with a violation of the subject of that disagreements constitutional rights.

WTF is that supposed to mean? That doesn't even make sense in Teabaggereze.

Thats cuz your very liberal head has been in a place where all you inhale is ass vapors for a very very long time.

Play nice, kids. I thought you knew this thread was for bashing Muslims and Ron Paul, not each other. ;)

And why is that exactly? What's there to debate anyways. You brought up a completely unrelated topic regarding an accident caused by the fog of war which doesn't even involve the same type of Muslims that we're talking about.

It's that whole "types of Muslims" comment that really irks me. It shows what a xenophobic, Islamophobic human being you really are.

There are plenty of different types of Muslims, just as there are different branches of any major religion. The phrase "types of Muslims" has no connotation, positive or negative.

You're crazy.

Yes, and Iranian is not a type of Muslim. Agent Ferris loves to separate and isolate different groups, so that he may attack them more easily.

So, how about the guy who almost killed a Muslim cabbie?

Or the church that decided it will burn koran books on 9-11-2010?

Look at what the hate-mongering surrounding this mosque is creating!

Ummm it's already established fact that the government has the authority to restrict access to US naval vessels, so what's your point?

Perhaps even Jewish sailors should be restricted??

The whole point surrounding this mosque is the persecution of Islamic religious freedom.

Dont you know the game, the cabbie tried to kill himself. Hating muslims is being a Patriot!

Funny.

Just a technical question, how are you able to reply to specific points of a post? I keep clicking on that "Multi-quote this message" option, but nothing happens.

I just delete text from the quote that doesnt partain to the point I want to address.

Ron Paul's a ****ing idiot, he's answering a question no one asked. We all agree with their right to build the Mosque but it seems Ron Paul is opposed to our right of self ownership not to enter into a contractual obligation to trade our labour for their capital and our right of free speech to encourage others to do the same.

Then why did people try to make the Burlington Coat Factory (and not other areas in the neighborhood) a landmark at this time? Why do politicians plan on using eminent domain for the mosque? You don't speak for the entire opposition.

He likewise tries to paint the man behind this Mosque as innocent and us as bigots when the fact is this man is an overt Sharia supporting Islamist

The Iman isn't an Islamist. The charge is based on a claim that he attended a conference that he didn't. Rauf isn't into stoning homosexuals.

attempting to build a Mega-Mosque at ground zero

It's a community center with a small mosque in it that's two blocks away from and out of sight of Ground Zero.

who has compared the U.S. unfavorably to AQ, has said that the U.S. was an accessory to 9-11, that OBL was made in the USA, and has refused to condemn Hamas as a terrorist organization, actually come to think of it, he and Ron Paul are ideological fellow travelers. **** Ron Paul, **** him in his stupid hypocritical ass.

Ron aul and the Rauf merely said that America's foreign policy pissed of AQ and Bin Laden. One doesn't have to be an expert in geopolitics to see how our presence in Gulf, Arabian penisula, and support of Israel (justified or not) have made us the best of friends with Islamic extremists.

Cease with the baiting and the personal attacks.

I can only speak for myself.

The Iman isn't an Islamist. The charge is based on a claim that he attended a conference that he didn't.

No it's based on the article he wrote endorsing Sharia law and the fact that he is the president and co-founder of the Sharia Law Index Group.

Rauf isn't into stoning homosexuals.

That's not the definition of an Islamist, and Islamist is simply a non-secular Muslim, Rauf is a proponent of Sharia law, he is an Islamist.

lol, it's the exact Islamic equivalent to an Evangelical Mega-Church, who do you think you're kidding? Two floors of the building have been devoted to this "small Mosque," you can call this a community center when they start offering religious services to non-Muslim members of the community.

Ron aul and the Rauf merely said that America's foreign policy pissed of AQ and Bin Laden.

No Rauf said that America was an accessory to 9-11, that OBL was made in the USA, and compared the U.S. unfavorably to Al-Qaeda.

One doesn't have to be an expert in geopolitics to see how our presence in Gulf, Arabian penisula, and support of Israel (justified or not) have made us the best of friends with Islamic extremists.

Cartoons piss off Islamic Extremists, anything and everything pisses off Islamic extremists, that's what makes them ****ing extremists. I'm sorry nothing we have done has made us an "accessory" to 9-11, that **** is beyond the pale sir.
