Re: Does the right (generally speaking) care for the minority?

Yes, of course. Only the right is defeding the righth of everyone to own property and to keep what they've earned away from the greedy grasp of the left.

The right cares that the rights of the unborn are ignored by the left, who sees them as mere objects to be used as political pawns.

The right cares about the defense of this nation, without which the whole issue of rights in the United States becomes a historical debate, not a matter for current events.

If someone doesn't care to defend the country that defends the rights of the minority to live their own lives free of the master's whip, then they really can't honestly claim to support any rights at all.

We need a political party that "cares for" the majority, the American working man.
Is this where the "tea party" comes in??
Yeah, that's why the Left makes it's annual pilgrimmage to Hollyweird for money. Everyone knows even the winos in Beverly Hills are millionaires.

The Tea Party is for less government spending and lower taxes so you keep more of your own money. More individual responsibility for our own lives and money.

No. Let's go back to civics 101. Is America a straight democracy, Barb? Yes or no?

The poor can just keep voting in dems because they are promised government hand outs.
The right wants everyone to be successful. Those able to work should be able to find a job. Those unable to work will be cared for by the government. With Obama's anti-business job killing policies, able bodied people have no choice but to live off other people's money.
When that many people are depending on Gov. to take care of them, they have all the power by sheer numbers.
As has been mentioned , most people WILL vote in their own best interest.
I'm an exception... and have been called an idiot because of it.:-)

I'm not really sure if people are talking about ideological minorities, or actual minorities.

I'm also not really sure why this thread is still going on, but that's a different concern.
