In theory, some of those loopholes were understandable, but in practice they sometimes made it possible for millionaires to pay nothing, while a bus driver was paying ten percent of his salary, and thatís crazy." -Reagan

    You mean reality.

People do this now, regardless of the law.

In part I concur; America has opted for the society over the individual while America was founded the other way around. Itís not a paradise and we as individuals use our natural right (freedom of association) everyday. We use it when we do not allow a Jehovahís Witness into our homes. We use it when we go out when there is less people around. We use it when we tell our friends that we do not want to go out that night. We use it when we pick a place to eat dinner at, etc.

Itís civilized to force people to interact? I find it more civil to allow people to make up their own minds about things. I call your civilized society, uncivilized and tyrannical.

And, of course, you were asking yourselves if you wanted to food prepared in a restaurant whose employees have expressed personal dislike for you.

Remember, Jesse Race Baiter Jackson admitted that he would spit in the salads of white folks when he worked in a restaurant in Chicago.

Actually, I was more worried about the other customers.

They were giving us the stink eye, worse than any other time in my life.

A civilized society will respect the freedom of the individual to conduct business only with those people he wishes to do business with.

An uncivilized society will seek to control a man's business, and hence his life, and use force and threats of force to compel his conformance to someone else's vision.

Yeah, know what you mean. There's this music store on PCH in Long Beach, and I knew it was going to be uncomfortable when I went in, but that was the last place to look for those Step'in Fetch'it recordings I was seeking.

You have the freedom to allow anyone into you domicile or associate with anyone you wish. However your freedoms must be balanced with the freedoms of other peoples. Once you offer goods, services and housing you must offer them to everybody without prejudice otherwise you restrict their freedom.
