Is that fastfood? I consider that more of a casual dining place for burgers.
 
Don and Millie's in Omaha, Nebraska. The best dbl cheeseburgers and onion rings on the planet.
 
My favorite is Foosacklys, it's a local fast food chain that specializes in Chicken...Also I enjoy Five Guys a lot too.

My favorites are Chipotle, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, and Jimmy Johns.
 
Culver's. BEST butter burger in town. McDonald's. ADDICTED to their filet-o-fish, fries and parfait. Little John's. LOVE their beef sandwiches. Five Guys' fries are good, too. I like Mimi's, too. Good $12 3-for deals.

My favorite has to be Golden Corral because although one can pig out to their hearts content, it is also possible for me to find inexpensive food that is good for me and also food that I enjoy.
As for instance I start with a good varied salad, following this up with fried fish (usually Catfish) and a mixture of various peppers as well as some sauteed mushroom on the side, finally ending my meal with some type of fresh fruit.
All this for a cost of just under $6.00 is in my estimation the best most folk can do.

You might as well just pick a dollar menu from the select few; although nothing compares to White Castle.

Burger King. I only ever eat chicken burgers and the Chicken Royal is the best one doing. Don't get me wrong, I hate multinational corporations as much as the next lefty, but I do appreciate a good burger and I would never blame the burger.
 
I like In-n-Out the most, but don't really like fast food in general anyway, so meh.
 
White Castle
 
Culver's may be regional. We have them all over IL but I have never seen them in DC or CA. They are simply the best. Their meat is tasty and grilled to perfection. They toast and butter their buns. Then they plop a salad on top with everything including fresh romaine lettuce, GOOD tomatoes and fresh sliced onions. They are just delicious and only $2. You can get a frozen custard shake for $1.50 during happy hour. Yum!
 
McDonald's and Wendy's are my favorite burger joints. Bojangle's and Lee's Famous Recipe are my favorite chicken places.
