What did you think occured?

Neither would you having to pay for abortion pills in the case of rape... ;)

She opposed it because they had morning after pills.

Thats only because I am male, but I am applying general principal.

It'd be a tough call for me. If Clinton had been the nominee in 2008, I would have voted for her then. However, after Obama and his goons, I don't want another democrat anywhere near the white house for a long time and one thing I do know about Palin is that she takes great pleasure in purging corruption. So probably Palin at this point.

Who cares about those two, we should elect some random citizen from some random location.

Perhaps even a stripper from Kansas.

OR something equally unexpected.

Randomization, it's fun.

Palin's town charged women for rape exams - CNN.com

According to the article, its pretty obvious to see that she knew about it. So she was either opposed to it or she was incompetent when it came to budgetting.

The allegation was that she wouldn't allow the use of rape kits because they contain a morning after pill. That article is about whether or not she knew about the reprehensible practice of charging rape victims as much as $1,000 for a rape exam.

Two separate issues, or so it seems.

And the allegation about the morning after pill making her forbid use of the rape kit is false, too. The kits are standard and uniform statewide; the mayor of Wasilla has no control over medical practice at the hospitals.

How about Lady Gaga? She would be an acceptable alternative to either of them.

But there was definitely people who voted against Obama based on his skin color. At best it was a nonfactor, more likely it was a detriment.

Gotta disagree with you here. I don't think Obama's skin color was a huge factor, because as has been said before most blacks, racist or not, vote Democrat and most white racists probably vote Republican (not that I'm in anyway saying the Republican party is racist). However, given Obama's personal charisma, his get out the vote campaign, and the historic nature of his candidacy, coupled with the fact that the Republicans trotted out a tired old man that generated little enthusasim from the base or independents, I'd say Obama probably had better lucky rallying "his" racists than McCain had in rallying "his". So overall I'd say Obama's race was probably a slight plus for him.

Mark Twain said it best: "It's not so much what we don't know, as it is what we do know that ain't so."

So many things have been said about Palin and about Obama that simply aren't true, yet they keep being repeated.

What 90% of blacks voting voted for him, many said it was simply due to his race.

90% of blacks always vote for the Democrat.

However, especially in Appalachia, many whites who normally vote Democrat specifically voted against Obama, and stated it was simply due to his race.

96% actually

that is why many expect dems who won extremely close races (such as steve driehaus in Cincinnati) to lose in 2010 since they won't have hordes of black robots who voted the dem ticket and who came out only to vote for Obama.

Wow, first I've heard. Learn something new - really? Robots? I had NO idea.
