I don't get the Anti-Palin sentiment when expressed by conservatives.

I understand it perfectly fine when libs and leftists exhibit it,....

But what do/ could Conservatives have against Palin?

I mean a Conservative woman who really does believe most of the things we (conservatives) espouse,... and wrapped neatly in a nicely refined image that is quite easy on the eyes.

Personally, I would prefer Condi would have shown some Conservative leadership,.... But for all her negatives and the way Palin scares the hell out of the lefties?

Give me Palin over any Rino or inside the beltway establishment power monger type anyday.

unless you know their reasons then you cannot prove what i said is false. My original point is that Obama has more racist supporters than Palin. My wife is a big palin fan, met her at rallies, bought her silly book etc. she in no way likes palin for racialist reasons. In fact, I don't know anyone who supported palin because of her race. But there are lots of obamunists who supported obama due mainly to his race. as I noted, blacks who couldn't have bothered to vote for Kerry or Gore

I am afraid of Palin, but probably not for the reasons you think. My concern is that concern for reality has no bearing on her thinking and she would make no allowance for actual knowledge in any of her decisions. It is mostly her ignorance I fear.

Obama has a more exciting personality than Kerry or Gore ever could possess, that can easily account for much of it.

again you said nothing above that proves your false claim. The numbers prove it, history proves it and reality proves and you cant change that no matter how bad you want to LOL

now you are trying to save face and say SOME black people voted for him because of race, well thats not news just like some voted against him because a race, not news but to say thats all why or mostly way is 100% false

and like i said even if 100% of the 96 voted for him on race only 20% of other voters would have to vote against him for race and <dramatic drum roll> that bigger because blacks are only 13% of the country LMAO

Palin is a RINO and hardly a conservative. She loves the government and its intrusion into the lives of the people. Tell me how many so-called conservatives actually vote to reduce the size of the government? I can safely say that I know of one that does and it's Ron Paul.

Please spare me your hyperbole. A person can be interesting (and Kerry and Gore have almost 0 personality) without being something worthy of worship. Also, I was not referring to a private personality, but his campaign style and public persona.

How many presidents (Obama included,... throw in Clinton, Bush, Carter and Reagan for that matter),... How many Presidents have we had actually have shown themselves to have a "basis in reality" for even some of the most important decisions they have to make?

How much true "leadership" in that regard have any of them really shown?

the question was-did obama have more racist supporters than Palin and I believe the answer is yes. I never heard of anyone who said they voted for Palin due to race-I heard plenty of people say they voted for Obama because he was black

1. It's "cool" to dislike her.
2. She did say some really stupid things (but who hasn't?)
3. She talks funny.
4. She quit her job as governor.
5. She's still supporting John McCain.
6. She's a Glenn Beck fan.

I wouldn't vote for her in the primary unless there was absolutely no other TRUE conservative or libertarian who I agreed with more. I just don't see her as being ready for the job.

Thats a very good question Chuz. Ultimately, I think the answer goes back to the attitude that a person has towards research and science. For example, I will take global warming as I am neutral on the issue. The proponderance of evidence suggest the global warming is a phenomenon that is actually happening and represents a threat to this country, even if not an immediate one. Someone like Palin, I believe, would categorically deny it as anti business, no matter how strong the evidence was. I don't think this is as true with someone like Obama or H Clinton.

Her political platform and performance as the governor of Alaska. When was the last time a Republican and Democrat was actually different in the role of government? I don't mean so-called issues like abortion or taxes. I mean issues like removing welfare programs and actually decreasing the size of the government.
