Would it be prosecuted?
It should be, of course. Should these Black Panthers be?

For the love of ****, can you stay on target? This isn't a "bash libertarians" thread, go make your own damned thread about that if you want. Libertarian political philosophy has nothing to do with the actions of the Black Panthers in this case. I haven't seen the LP going around intimidating voters either, so stop with your biased, bigoted agenda against Libertarians and comment on the damned thread topic. No one said Obama won because of the Black Panthers, people have said what the Black Panthers had done was clearly voter intimidation and there should have been investigation and prosecution for these crimes as voter intimidation is something that we cannot allow stand.
Protecting whose voting rights from what?
Would it be prosecuted?
Look.. if I was a black I would be scared of the libertarians getting in office.

EDIT: In other words I agree with the black panthers being sick of white supremacy.
The black panther party was actually created in self defense of black people. This was a misguided attempt at making sure that AA were not, themselves, intimidated at the polls.

EDIT: In other words I sympathise with the black panthers being sick of white supremacy.
There are plenty of black folk in the libertarian party... I think you are racist, indicating that black folk are lazy and would hate to see libertarian ideal come back to this great nation.... shame on you.
Lame arguement of course.
Oh really? And who was intimidating black people at this polling place before the Black Panthers showed up? Where's the news story? Where are the culprits? Who was prosecuted?
I am not trying to derail anything.. I think the black community does have something to fear regarding racists and polls. White supremacy shouldn't have an option at the poll. Intimidation may be all that blacks have to go with since they are a minority group that should be protected but somehow I don't think they will be protected by the libertarians.(or any other minority group) The Tea Party is the republican party playing a pathetic political name change game.
EDIT: I've said my part on this. I will not lament about the pathetic Tea bagger party further. But what libertarians want to do to the constitution is unacceptable from a minority mind set in my humble opinion of course.
I bet you wore a public enemy shirt and thought you were cool amonst all your other white friends in your nice upper class suburban home.... kudos to you and fight the power.
lol.. nope. I am done responding to your rediculous posts that are more personal attacks then directed towards the subject. Likely because your lack of an ability to come up with legit arguments.

Oh for Christ sake. I said it was a "misguided" attempt.
The Black Panther party was created because of voter intimidation, police brutality (on blacks) etc. *I* am not saying anyone was intimidating black people on this day or even in this area, what *I* am saying is that they were there (however misguided) to make sure that voter intimidation on AA did not happen.
Can you supply recent examples of intimidation of black voters during the Obama election?
Look this is lame.. your implying he won the election because of intimidation tactics.. really just pathetic.
It should be, of course. Should these Black Panthers be?
Well if that ain't the pot calling the kettle black.
No it isn't. Libertarianism is a political philosophy that is open to be shot down and called out for what it is. If you don't want racists voting for your candidate then make sure he doesn't give them a reason to vote for him.
Whatever in the world does that have to do about anything?
OMG.. Obama won because of the black panthers now huh? lmao.
Man you post some weak arguments. Anyhow it's clear the intentions of the libertarians are to roll back the 1964 civil rights act. The question is.. should minorities be scared of that happening? The Black Panthers are a racist group with no political party.. now that libertarians have made it clear they want to amend the civil rights act the kkk has a party they can check off. It is also taking advantage of the presidents skin color.
