In Alabama it's the tag team of Beck and O'Reilly. At least where I live. I am sure their is a whole ton of Limbaugh listeners I just don't know them.

I went with Rush from the choices. He's smart, but he's also funny and you have to be to keep people listening to the radio. Hell, I'm always looking for the best music when I listen to the radio which is only when I'm in the car.

    "Probably Krauthammer or Drudge. "

Somewhere around 1976-1977 Irving Kristol was taking a sabattical from NYU and went to AEI. During lunch, he and a man by the name of Jude Wanniski talked economics. Jude was an early promoter of "supply-side" economics, and Kristol was becoming a strong voice in the Wall Street Journal. Wanniski taught Kristol about this prospective, and Kristol promoted it in the journal. The lunchroom at AEI and lunch time at The Public Interest probably have had more intellectual influence than people realize. Charles and others socialize with one another and ideas are exchanged.

I would have said Rush Limbaugh...but I have read that Matt Drudge and the Drudge Report is the most frequently hit internet site of both major party staffers, major media outlets, and the UK. So...Hmmmm...

Every political candidate on the right is continually trying to be a "Reagan conservative" and referencing the man. Most conservatives long for the days of Reagan while youth are taught of him as the pinnacle of Conservatism often.

Even dead, his voice...through the words he's left over and the legacy that continues on...is by far the most influential amongst conservatives.
I totally agree, to bad God broke the mold and it will be another 100 years before we see the likes of president Reagan, I have yet to see anyone come close to this man.

I think Sarah Palin. Rush Limbaugh comes a close second, then Glenn Beck. I think Rush Limbaugh is among one of the more sensible ultra-conservatives who doesn't speak madness like Glenn Beck. Rush is very persuasive and Glenn fires up the savvy ultra-conservative crowd who support him madly. However, Sarah Palin beats them all because she has a huge support base and being ultra-conservative as well as being a mellow conservative at times. Her tea party movement is spreading like a plague. Her antics attracted a lot of publicity but she turned the publicity into a good spotlight. Now, she has a bigger support base than McCain or Obama does. I'm sorry for the Democrats, but it's the truth. Big Sister is coming

I haven't read the thread yet, but my guess is everybody is wondering why Sarah Palin is off the list.

As is food. As is fighting. Being right. Having the last word. Anything in life can be addictive. And just like people can drink and not be alcoholics, people can smoke pot and not be addicts.

I'd really like to see a comparison study: How many lives pot has literally destroyed and taken, vs alcohol.

Pot should be legalized, and alcohol should be illegal.

He enacted amnesty, raised taxes, ran up the debt, cut and ran on terror... and he's your saint?
The Makeout Hobo is real, and does indeed travel around the country in his van and make out with ladies... If you meet the Makeout Hobo, it is customary to greet him with a shot of whiskey and a high five (if you are a dude) or passionate makeouts (if you are a lady).
