Re: What is the source of Morality

I voted for rational thought. I don't think that religion is the "most correct" answer, as there are many people that are agnostic or atheist, and therefore do not subscribe to any religious beliefs. Society may play a small role in an individuals moral standards, but most people do not allow others to dictate their personal beliefs. There are a few things that could be considered universally right or wrong - such as, it's common sense that murdering someone, or stealing, is wrong. But I think ultimately, your moral codes are derived from your own personal experiences and how you view them, and how you view the world as a whole. While a person's beliefs may not seem rational to someone else, that person obviously has some rationale for why they believe the way they do.

Re: What is the source of Morality

Morality is relative.

But often what one "percieves" as "right and wrong" are often dictated by society, as in what's generally accepted. Its OK to think this way or that, but not this way or that.
