No nation has ever successfully invaded, and taken, a large nation....at least not in the last 300 years.....
With all the firepower we have, we could not invade Russia, or China. Hell, we couldn't even take Vietnam !!!

You're thinking is backwards. with all the firepower held by the people, they could not invade us.....

behind every blade of grass

My thlinking goes both ways....if we can't invade them, and them being unarmed, it isn't likely that they can invade us...

This is my gun:

Who said I don't own weapons? I said I don't own firearms. That doesn't mean I'd be "easy pickins" for some crackhead burglar
You have a toothbrush, right?
Weapon.

Exactly.

Granted, I also have some things that are just plain old weapons, and I definitely wouldn't try to brush my teeth with them.
My toothbrush has a bayonette lug.

:rofl :rofl

"Assault toothbrush" bans are currently being considered by many democrats.
With good reason -- they are the weapon of choice for extreme right-wing dental cabals.

I've got this trusty toothbrush I’ve had for perhaps even a year...does that make me a suspicious person?

Come to think of it, it is a fairly dangerous weapon.

I’ve slipped while using it and caused slight and very temporary gum damage every month or so.

No. I don't hunt, live in a small safe town, and just never felt the need.

Yeah, I live in a small safe town too.

Well, except that we had a serial killer last year that killed five people, including someone I knew a couple miles up the road. Other than that...

What, they allow outsiders where you are? Come to hillbillyland, everybody knows everybody. Heck, we're family.

Did he say the serial killer was an outsider?

You never know...

I'm going to quit while I'm behind. Y'all are armed and I'm not. ;)
There's nothing wrong with not having a gun because you do not think you need one.
Right up to the very moment that you realize that you DO need one, anyway.

"Be Prepared" - which I interpret to mean that it is always better to have and no tneed than need and not have.

there are only two real positions on guns

Either you are behind the barrel or in front of it:mrgreen:

Nah, I was being facetious. But tell me, why should I be so scared of my neighbors that I feel the need to arm myself?

That's exactly right!!

I support every citizen's right not to own a gun, if they prefer not to. The same way I support every citizen's right to own a gun, if they perfer to.

Ain't America great?!?

Why yes, yes it is. And spot on!

Its not your neighbors you should worry about.

Think again....if we have a disaster that limits the delivery of food goods, and your neighbor thinks you have food hoarded, you better be well armed.
I don't fear my govt near as much as I do an armed, and hungry, mob...
