we all know that people like Josh Sugarmann, Sarah Brady and the rest of that scummy assortment of ARCs lie constantly. They also are inconsistent

First a bullet that doesn't expand is a cop killer bullet (KTV) then one that does expand like crazy (the exact opposite ) is a cop killer bullet meaning anything in between is now a cop killer bullet

The scum wanted to ban "saturday night specials" because they are 1) cheap, 2) easily concealable 3) inaccurate and have no relationship to the militia

then they wanted to ban semi auto rifles which are 1) expensive 2) large, 3) extremely accurate 4) and are based on military designs

In 1989 they claimed that 15-19 shot handguns should be banned. After the AWB many makers decided it was stupid to build a gun that can only hold 10 rounds but was big enough to take a 19 round magazine. so they built smaller guns that were just big enough to hold the clinton mandated mags

again the ARC asshats whined that these guns were SMALLER

In other words, the scum want to ban everything and will use terms designed to scare the sheep who don't know better

If I understand correctly, though, kevlar vests like the type police wear won't stop *any* rifle rounds unless it's just pistol ammo being fired from a rifle. If you want to stop rifle bullets, you need a hard armor plate, not just kevlar.

Yeah, I have three handguns, with plenty of ammo, though I haven't fired one since my army days.

Kevlar might stop rifle bullets at extreme range (when the bullets slow down a bit).

But yeah, I think you are correct.

No but I have been looking into buying one. TJ, Mexico is only 30 miles away with daily killings and drug wars.

Not to mention 2012 is just around the corner and we all know this country will turn into Mad Max after the Mayans blow the Earth up.
