Grade the Obama Administration

Is Obama Doing a good Job?

Whoa. Look at those poll results. Did you think 2 years ago that people would be so disappointed?

With both parties entrenched in all of these problems, why do you think the American people keep putting up with their government?

Several reasons:

Partisanship. My party is the party of solving these problems. It's that other party that's bad. Rah, rah, go my party!

Advertising. It's so easy just to accept at face value the total BS that infests the airwaves during every election.

Apathy. The voters don't think there is anything they can do anyway. Just vote for the lesser of the evils, or stay home.

Ignorance. Just watch Leno's "jaywalking", or remember those Obama supporters telling the world how they liked his choice for a VP (Palin), and how they agree with his pro life position. Does anyone doubt that voters on the other side are equally ignorant?

The Obama has retained or expanded all of GWB's security policies that were villified, if not openly hated, by the left (at least when GWB was in office).

For this, He gets a "Huzzah!"

The Obvious Question:
Where are the whines, cries and squeals from the left regarding the above?

Rah rah, yay for my party! See my post immediately above for an answer.

PS: Republicans do it too.

I have absolutely no idea how this is supposed to be relevant to what I said.

Huzzah for double standard conservatives who say they are for liberty but support statist polices!!!!

That's not necessarily a double standard, as it depends entirely on the 'liberty' and the 'statist policy' in question. And, of course, liberals are just as guilty.

That red herring aside..

The refusal of the dems/liberals to condemn The Secular Messiah for retaining and expanding the GWB policies that they once villified is a CLEAR double standard.

From my "post immediately above":

Your question:

The Obvious Question:

(Here, I'm assuming that by "the left", you mean the Democrats. Perhaps that assumption was in error.

My answer:
Rah rah, yay for my party! See my post immediately above for an answer.

You don't hear whining about Obama from the left because they are cheering for their party.

I thought that was pretty clear, but maybe it wasn't.

I guess I shouldn't be really voting on this considering it is my belief that I shouldn't be pointing the "golden gun of government" at people by saying what I think Obama should be doing. Either way I can't tell if he's stupid or if he honestly WANTS to take our economy apart piece by piece. I really don't know any more.

It's the government that is "bad". We've got to destroy partisanship in this country. We need a cultural movement that is antagonistic toward the Republican Party, the Democrat Party, the United States Congress, and the Federal Bureaucracy.

If this government can't be efficient, then we need a new government. If this government can't regulate without screwing up the entire economy, then we don't need regulators at all. The best way of destroying Corporatism is to destroy the governments ability to aid Corporations, by destroying our governments ability to act.

When a government creates chaos in society, the only way to respond is for society to create chaos in its government, but voting everyone out of office, by becoming anti-government. Period, regardless of party. Our government is too big and too incompetent to survive. If we don't force it to change, we'll all go down with it.
