Is sounding like an Ivy-League graduate a good thing? They usually come of rather smug. Frankly, I'd rather listen to the likes of Ron Paul (Duke) and Paul Ryan (Miami University), or Eric Cantor (George Washington University) or Gary Johnson (University of New Mexico).

I'd give the President a B+ on conducting the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, a D- in Foreign Policy, a D- on the Economy, a C on Tax Policy, and a flat out F on managing the Bureaucracy. (People, seriously, this is why it is important to elect an individual who has RUN SOMETHING BEFORE).
I agree. I looked and guess I voted pretty much the exact way you did.

I support every action he has made concerning the wars. Though if his plan doesn't work I will quickly lose support.

I support his handling our recovery. We have finally been recovering. It will take time to get the unemployment down but I was expecting that. To think he can simply pull millions of jobs out of his back pocket and give everyone jobs is ridiculous. The man isn't a Messiah like some conservatives like to think of him as.

I'd give him a C on foreign policy.

I support his tax cuts. Yes he will likely need to raise taxes again once the economy has fully recovered, but I'm willing to accept that to pay down our debt as long and the government is willing to cut programs to have a surplus again. Hopefully another Bush wont **** that up next time.

Give him an F on managing bureaucracy. He has not been bipartisan enough, but at the same time it appears to me Republicans are more concerned about winning the next elections than coming together. Didn't see that coming...

Better to sound like you have some education than to try to sound like a good old boy despite having graduated from Harvard Business School.

What? Why? What does that have to do with policy or anything relevant? I'd rather have a President the Stutters and says "Like" every other sentence, if his policies are good and his Administration is capable.

It would be better, no doubt, to have a president with sound policy. It also helps if he can convince people that he knows what he is talking about.

Well, you know, like we need to stop spending, you know, like so much ummmmmmm..... errrrr... money and try to sort of you know, like, reduce the deficit.

Of course, not even Bush was quite that bad, but you get the idea.

I disagree with his handling of the war for one thing. He is continuing the Bush foreign policy. As for the economy, I think he is 'decent' but I am no fan of bailouts or stimulus bills. This goes to say I am also strongly against the Bush corporate bailout as well.
Vote John Schnatter (Papa John) 2012!
