I have a drink occasionally when I'm stressed but the best thing I've found is sex. Nothing deactivates stress like sex can.

    Better outcomes.

I would chat with her when I'm feeling particularly snarky, but I wouldn't ever call her on the phone.

    Re: Stress

I've suffered sporadically from pretty severe anxiety disorder for at least 20 years.
I don't know how I deal with stress.
I guess I've been fortunate enough or canny enough to surround myself with people who shelter me from the worst of it.
Really, I rely very heavily on family members to carry me when the going gets rough.
Is it fair to them? Not really.
But I guess I contribute other things to the family besides strength and stability in times of crisis.
Different people bring different things to the table.

    Video gaming, FPS games especially.

    Re: Stress

if i can, i'll take the "ignore it and it'll go away" stance or i lock myself up with really loud music and a good book
So follow me into the desert
    As desperate as you are
Where the moon is glued to a picture of heaven
And all the little pigs have God

I find myself grinding my teeth. A lot. Guess that's why God invented the Night Guard.

Also, escapism via the internet or reading.

Hey, I have a night guard too! Anxiety can be a real bitch.
