I just went through the entire thread. You started a thread that is obviously seeking to call Obama haters out. You approached just about everybody with the same condescending attitude and argumentative spirit. You have defended Obama at every turn while ending your posts with "disclaimers" of how "both sides do it." You have more than a few times declared that everybody should know what this thread and you are about, despite you offering no substance at all.

My first post was about how Democrats are full of hypocritical crap. You retorted with the same old condescending attitude you displayed to others. I offerred a situation to validate your "both do it" defense of Obama and the Democrats with the Republican whining about Monika Lewinski. You then insisted on declaring that I have "egg on my face" or that I am saving face from something.

I think you are full of crap and don't like that I called you out on it because thus far, you still refrain from offering substance to your blanket statement that "everybody does it." Just a lot of "Republicans do it more" or dodging everybody else's substance of how Democrats do it.

People being concerned about gun rights is understandable. This is the norm. People were even worried about this when right-wing presidents like Bush and Clinton were in power... But for a large number to think the president is a Muslim or not born in the United States? Come on... That's just a bunch of dark comedy and maybe a little racist hate from fringe groups. He doesn't fit the category of a socialist either but the definition of socialism in this country can mean anything ridiculous, like giving children free meals at school. So I guess that is understandable too.

I agree people can be "concerned" about guns and obama def. has a less than pro view about them and wants some new laws and the current ones enforced I myself am pro gun and have a CWP but I guess I just dont worry about it because the 2nd amendment isnt going any where! thats the part I dont get, no need to worry about t because in reality gun rights arent going anywhere.

the rest I agree with you but I wanted to get honest opinions and show main stream doesnt think like that no matter what pools said or even the ones that do wouldnt admit because they realize its silly.

I believe by some of the appointments he's made,[att gen, homeland security sec, and various advisors] that he does not take the war on terror serious. I am very suspicious of what his long term agenda is.

just asking cause suspicious to me implies that you may think a secret plot is out there, more specifically a negative one.

also wouldnt the increased troops and not pulling out when he promised contradict the first thing (he doesnt take it serious)

now mind you I am CURIOUS of lots of things he is doing and WONDERING how much they will work or not etc etc, im definitely not sold on all the ideas thats for sure.

Okay...this isn't a chat with a friend. Could you make your posts a little more formal, and serious? You really don't need a "LMAO" every other line, and you could use some more periods.

And from I can tell, you've got the egg on your face, and you've pretty much missed the point of what MSgt has been saying. Take a step back, calm down, and reread what he has posted, and respond to them.

He has nearly doubled the amount of troops we have in Afghanistan. That directly contradicts your statement, so any response?

trust me i missed nothing at all. I know he is now telling me that he feels both sides have issues too but that doesnt change the fact he blasted one side and implied they all think the same way and I called him on it. Go back and look and you will see, thats why I ignored the rest because it DOESNT MATTER lol he could say what ever he wants after the fact but if he doesnt admit to what he got called out on it doesnt really matter.

I am very calm, its a "message board" lol thats why i find it funny and keep laughing. Sorry im always going to laugh when somebody is so wrong and tries to tell me that THEY know what "I" really meant and what "I" am trying to do and how "I" think eventhough I tell them something different/ Thanks for you reply though but it means very little. I ll respond to anything he or you wants once he just admits he was knee jerk and what I called him out on otherwise theres no point :D

You are absolutely right... look at the Dixie Chicks shunned for their simple outrage over the war. There was a time when dissent was a noble expression of free speech. Yet they were silenced by the hypersensitive President Obama... er, wait a minute, that was before Obama.
 
Its very hard to believe that intelligent people actually believe any of this stuff. Its ok to dislike Obama, dislike his policies or dislike the way he looks, but to actually believe most of the entries above you would have to have questionable critical thinking skills or be dangerously malleable.

Perhaps I just need to lighten up and realize most of these are tongue-in-cheek answers as most of the posters on this board are far more intelligent than that.

I couldnt agree more but I let guns and socialism slide because people contort both issues.

Socialism in this country could mean just about anything to some people in this country, free school lunches is enough to for some to deem a person socialist LOL

and with guns obama certainly wants more control and the laws enforced but the 2nd amendment is going anywhere but I atleast kind of get the argument

the point of the pool was to prove people dont actually think like that on a large scale and do open up a real dialogue with anybody who does. Im honestly curious whats the base of their logic and if it makes sense, on my own I havent found and nor can I see anybody but most times outside eyes can usually help you see.

Thank you O Guru for taking me to task on being SUSPICIOUS of obamas' agenda. Maybe I should have said CURIOUS. OK,at the very beginning of his campaign there was rev wright, bill ayres, and a host of other radicals he has associated with.
fast forward to his take over of the auto manufacturing industry, school loans, banks,etc. just to name a few. His apparent dislike of anyone who is successful is also troubleing
As I noted earlier his choice of cabinet secretaries is especially strange given their record on border security and reluctance to call terriorists and the war on terror what it is.
maybe these things I just mentioned are not enough to make me suspicious, only curious. Maybe something in between

Ha! just in case you thought so I wasnt taking a shot at you it was a honest question

1.)the church thing I dont take serious at all.
2.)I agree 100% with this, he has possible associations with people that also make me curious eventhough so do all politicians it still legitimate concern
3.) he nor the government didnt "took over" the "auto industry"
4.) this was done to help the banks from my understanding but I had no concerns about it
5.) he also didnt take over banks, just add more regulation to keep them in check which needed done but i wasnt really infavor of it and it seems the legislation written by the government want good enough has they are still finding loop holes to screw us
6.) uhm, ok, this is just an opinion I dont share
7.) this I agree with seems like a buddy system going on, not rare for a president but I agree I dont like it
8.) this doesnt bother me either has I understand what he is trying to do and dont care as long as we continue to fight that war which we are

Oh....so we must produce all information in every post so as to be safe? If I write a post about Hitler's depravity, will you accuse me of not recognizing the depravity of others? My first post was about how Democrats are full of crap. You whined and stated Republicans do it too. Caring little to defend Republicans, my second post was an example of how Republicans are full of crap. From here you persisted in celebrating the High School in you. I even later popped a remark about Tea Baggers and stated nothing about Republicans or Democrats in that post. I guess every post we make must have a disclaimer for those who can't really have a proper discussion without obsessing for an argument.

And they all do think the same way. This is why they lean severely to one side on any given topic, with few exceptions and later lean the other way when their guy does it. Their unified goal is to get their guy in office no matter the cost. You called me on nothing. You jumped the gun over your wish to have a designed argument (the purpose for your little thread). Because you are trying too hard to be “smarter” than everybody else, you’ve merely represented yourself with ineptness into your own topic. There's no substance to discuss, just a bunch of simple quips and condescensions.

Exhibit A: You jump the gun (knee jerk) by accusing me of one sidedness after a single post because my first post was about Democrats. Is not your own poll focused solely on calling non-Democrats out? Like I stated earlier, your intentions are obvious and you are a hypocrit.

Exhibit B: You acknowledge to "NOW" get what I'm saying, which means your original insulting post to me was a "knee jerk".
