There are very few real libertarians on this board. But they exist.

I hate that these tests don't separate personal morality from political morality. For instance, I think that smoking and drugs are great evils that should be eradicated. But should a government enforce it? I don't think so. Just the first question of that quiz is so vague to be absolutely meaningless. I don't even know how to answer it, since I think that corporations serve humanity.

According to the first test, I am a libertarian, pretty solidly. I think any of the libertarians will find that amusing.

By the way, what exactly is a "real" libertarian?

I think of the term libertarian in terms of the popular use of the word: small government. Meaning, those that oppose the central bank, those that oppose social spending, etc. Many here claim to be libertarians, but only a handful actually support those things.

Economic Left/Right: -1.38
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.13

According to the test it says I am a liberal-libertarian. And I'm sure most liberals would find that amusing as well.

I don't think the test accurately depicts someone's place on the spectrum.

Eh, it's closest to where I am in position, but these tests are all pretty flawed.

I don't agree. Me and you agree on far to much. You may be more left, but you still have many libertarian idea's. Same for me in the opposite direction.

WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE! I am not a libertarian, I don't agree with them on almost anything.

Does anyone know of a comprehensive test for political leanings: social, economic and foreign relations? I am looking for a test that asks a large number of questions to refine the result.

Third test - Centrist

Hehehehe! Niether am I. This does not mean we do not have similar ideals.

On what? I can't think of much we have agreed on.

I am not going to look them all up. I know it has been a few times.

PS If you look at the chart you will see libertarian has right and left. It is the opposite of authoritarian. So you being more libertarian makes sense. It has little to do with the actual libertarian party or anything even close.
