THe way I read that is that we pretty much see eye-to-eye on social issues, but not on economic and perhaps defense/foreign policy issues.

None of these tests indicate whether you feel the laws should be implemented locally or nationally, so they won't ever give an accurate reading of my political philosophies.

Am I really a liberal? Honestly I don't think so, but this is the second test that says that. The site describes me as "You are a center-left social moderate. Left: 2.47, Libertarian: 0.19." However, I disagree.

I know what you hippy types need:

Very interesting. Only two authoritarians among twenty-one users. Whereas it's almost the exact inverse among prominent American politicians.

It's a pity that this is an internet forum poll and not one from Gallup. If that were so, I would be unsurprised to see the Triumvirate run out of Washington tomorrow.

Me, I think that political views ought to run along four axes: Federalism - Unitarism (Concentration of Power), Authoritarian - Libertarian (Social Issues), Right - Left (Economics), and Interventionism - Unilateralism (Foreign Policy)

These things are all BS anyway because modern the descriptions of these terms are meaningless nonsense.

Every one of them assumes that we should be thinking "federal" government instead of as a hierarchy.

How does someone like me answer a question about abortion or immigration when the choices don't include "All of the above if decided by the people of the particular state the law applies to and none of the above if enacted federally"?

They presume the validity of the false modern left-right dichotomy, which makes them meaningless.

Then I think you should come up with the DP Political Quiz!

The closest test that I've seen is the World's Smallest Political Quiz. This is what it says about me:

But I think that just a list of political beliefs is the best way to get a good understanding of someone.
T. Fernandez: My Political Views

The World's Smallest Political quiz is a ploy by the Libertarian Party designed to make people think their platform would appeal them. It makes almost everyone look like an anarchist.

edit: Except Tucker Case. He's clearly doing it wrong.

According to this thing I line up with the ideals of Ganhdi.

Here is an interesting image:

Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton...on the right?....link? or.... is this another group of intellectually dishonest leftie's attempting to present their ideology as paletable or "mainstream"?

Laughable.
