Which do you consider yourself to be?

Define each.

Awesome poll!

Something funny.
One of the blogs I read has this as a question for this weekend.

Weakend: Nerd, Geek, or Dork? | Weakonomi¢s

Which do you consider yourself to be?

By that logic I define:

nerd = someone who is not Cilogy

dork = someone who is not Cilogy

geek = someone who is not Cilogy

So none of the above.

I'm a geek. I have interests in sci fi, fantasy, etc, and play online games, but I fit pretty well into mainstream society. Dorks lack social skills and Nerds are hyperbrainy.

I probably fit best in the nerd category.

I prefer to term myself as being a Human.

I dunno? I have no issue being called any of the above. I play D&D, love sci-fi and fantasy, am an avid gamer (of all sorts, online and off), read a lot, pretty smart but not like physicist smart or anything, and I'm socially adept.

I guess more of a geek?

None of the above, of course!
I'm a klutz at times, most of the time....
To those who think they must label others with these non-complimentary terms, pay me a visit and we will talk about our other weaknesses.
Unless you are Mr Perfect himself.........now what can i dream up???..:spin:

These terms aren't derogatory the way they used to be when we were growing up. Hence the term "nerdy hot."

Nerds are in style right now. They call themselves hipsters.

Uh oh. Here he comes...

I was gonna say I was a nerd until I read this. I am not a hipster.

I may be slightly off on that. It may be me who refers to hipsters as nerds. Lulz. But, my guy is nerdy hot. I'm a huge fan.

I chose nerd. I almost chose none of the above.

I'm intellectual and introverted, but not into sci-fi/fantasy or any of those games people are obsessive about. I get the impression people find me a little intimidating, maybe because I'm mostly very serious and calm. I don't have any weird hobbies and I have decent social skills and manners, so I'm not too big of a geek or anything.

I do wear nerdy glasses when I feel like seeing, which is a little less than half the time.

Making fun of "nerds" or so on because they wear glasses or associating them with glasses makes as much sense as making fun of the disabled because many use wheelchairs.

I love reading fantasy & sci-fi, but not playing fantasy games. I would rather stay home and read a book or play around on this site than go to a party with loud music and a bunch of people. I'm introverted and would rather go to a museum on vacation than the beach.

I also wear glasses.

I call myself a nerd and proud of it.

None of the above, 5 or so years ago I defiantly would of been under the nerd category but after getting my license then a job I found no time for the fun nerdy things anymore :)()

All of the above and proud of it. I'm the kind of guy who goes on a 5 day vacation to Las Vegas with pals, and then leaves some of them behind in Vegas for three days. So I can go out and hike and camp around Valley of Fire State Park. One: I hike and backpack hundreds of miles each year. Two: So I can see where they filmed Star Trek Generations and try to find Captain Kirk's grave! Then on the way back I swing by Hoover Dam and hike the trails above it. When I get back to Vegas for the last day of the trip, I listen to my pals whine about their hangovers and how much money they lost. They call me a geek/nerd/dork and so does my girlfriend, which suits me just fine!
