Isn't the war on terror racist beneath the blanket of hypocrisy?
Holy illogical leap Batman. How much assuming did you have to do to get this? Obama is a smart guy. He's a liar and a cheat as well, but he's smart and can get away with it.
But you have to do some mighty fine stretching of reality to make it seem like those who think that America is well less racist now than in the past are somehow racist themselves.
Some of the same posters in this thread who say America is becoming 'less and less' racist are those who will swear that it is highly unlikely that Barack Obama got through university without Affirmative Action.
Last I remember, it was a white guy that we put to death for a terroristic act.
Not remotely. It's funny how people can take an action and automatically only see race as the cause when clearly it has little or no bearing. I guess some people are conditioned to only see events in terms of skin color, but these people are then, at least in my experience, the ones who turn around and scream bloody murder and play the race card constantly.
Go figure.
Which of the following statements do you agree with:
Oh - So you subscribe to the belief that Obama benefited from affirmative action? Why? Do you think Obama couldn't have gotten through Harvard on his own without cheating and lying? Do you think his color played a role in how far his education has gotten him? Why? Does it seem like impossible to you that a single black guy would get through Harvard Law? Why? Do you feel blacks are an inferior with less intellectual abilities than whites? What is it about a black guy graduating from a top university that makes some whites question whether he got there on his own or not? I guess when you see a black guy achieve more than you in life he couldn't have possibly done on it on his own.
Read what I actually said:
Do you feel like you're included in 'some of those posters'? Why?
Racism, by definition, is about skin color.
Or didn't you realize that?
So let me see if I get it right... Saddam Hussein was killed - because he was white? Is there some rule that there can not be racism against white people?
How about this for a poll option (the one I would have voted for): "America is less racist now than in the past, and racism is steadily lessening. However, as racism wanes, those who hold to their racist views become more vocal."I think America is becoming more racist. More Democrats are using the race card and throwing race into every single policy that they disagree with. There is a larger racial and political divide in the country and it's due to the tactics and criticisms that the Democrat party makes.

Uh-huh, and Louie XVI of France was executed because he was French.
Those who claim blacks are becoming more racist, what evidence would you point to for this?
white racism is waning. Black racism has become emboldened-this will cause things to change and will probably cause more white racism. However, over all racism has declined.
White racism has declined significantly. Black racism is on the rise. Overall, I think it has declined. So my choice is America is becoming less and less racist, except somebody left this option off the poll. *shakes head*
This is primarily due to integration and in the case of whites, working with capable blacks. It is slowed by affirmative action, as often incapable blacks are promoted. Movies also have a lot to do with our perceptions and having more main actor roles played by quality actors who are black helps.
It is good to be an American.
Yeah, Im going to join the list of bandwagon people who agree with TurtleDude here.

I never made claims about racism from blacks. I made claims of political race bating and false accusations by the Democrat party regarding people and policy they disagree with.
Those are the ones I'm referring to
Sorry but I don't read them as racist comments at all. I was looking for the phrase "more racist". Sounded like opinions to me
They were accusing blacks of becoming 'embolded' or 'more racist' and I'm asking them to discuss why they think that is.

I don't feel the need to explain this. They were accusing blacks of becoming 'embolded' or 'more racist' and I'm asking them to discuss why they think that is.
