Ive been doing a lot of research on this about 45days worth of polls, articles reading and watching reports and this is what Ive come up with and I wondered what peoples opinions here were. Being a centrist myself I find it interesting.

Going off all the data I found this is what it came to on average:

FOX = Far Right to Extreme Right

ABC = Left to Right (found to have the widest range but never to much center)

PBS = Center to Left

CNN = Center Left to Left

NBC = Left to Far Left

CBS = Left to Far Left

MSNBC = Far Left

Talk Radio = Far Right to Extreme Far Right

just curious what do you guys and girls think?

Sorry Guys thought Id be able to poll each one so ill start with fox since it was at the top

If Fox was extreme right, I don't think they would allow any other opinions. Also I don't know what the difference between "far right" and "extreme right" is.

I would say Fox is center-right. They can't be extreme-right when they have liberal commentators. Although Fox does have somewhat of a right-wing lean to it. It's a shame reporters can't report facts, they have to report facts as interpreted through their political philosophy first.

It depends on what we're talking about...

Foxnews.com: Center to right (depending on the article / topic)
Fox News daily news: Center right
Fox News talk shows: Far right to extreme far right
Fox News radio talk shows: Extreme far right
Fox local news: Center

Overall: Fox clearly is a right network. Most of the actual news IMO is closer to center, but when it comes to the opinions they promote through hiring these talk show hosts, it is clear that they are a right leaning organization.

I don't really care though... the only time I watch, listen to or read FoxNews' media is just for the stories... I don't care much for the opinions.

FoxNews.com articles are usually more interesting than most I read online, though I mainly stick to the main stream media.

The country is so flooded with right wing media that there is no such thing as left wing media any more. Anyone that counters the right with the truth is considered far left. The range is from center to far right. All media today is only as "left" as their corporate owners let them be.

I would say that:

FOX = Center Right to Right.

ABC = Center

PBS = Center Left.

CNN = Center (pretty much just straight news anymore)

NBC = Center to Center Left.

CBS = Center

MSNBC = Center Left to Left.

NPR = Center to Center Left.

Talk Radio = Right to Extreme Right.

Anyone that would describe Fox as Far or Extreme right does not know what Far Right is, and anyone that would describe MSNBC as Far Left does not know what Far Left is.

Anyone that thinks Fox is not 100% republican (right) hasn't listened with an open mind. Even their "news" slams Obama and the democrats. I don't know how farther "right" you can get. MSNBC is labeled "left" because it exposes their lies.

Go turn on PBS and discover left-wing media.

Such as? What has the Olbermann network exposed recently, other than their asses?

Fox is hardcore Republican. (notice I didnt say conservative)

Although I agree with many conservative viewpoints, I detest how the republicans have tried to brainwash people with their propaganda. (ie Hannity)

Thank God for PBS. They're the closest to unbiased you can find. It isn't controlled by corporate interest. But it still has to cater to the right because they would do everything in their power to shut them down. Republicans demonize everyone they can't control.

I figured "Far" and "Extreme" talked more about the amount of bias they had more than pushing that agenda. For example I don't think Fox News or MSNBC (or even talk radio) push, for the most part, the "Extreme" or even the "Far" version in many cases of that particular sides agenda...but their slant and bias is definitely "Far" or "extreme" comparative to the rest of the media.

I voted for all the poll options.

Because, obviously, they are all correct.

Depending, of course, on who you ask.

this is right on the mark.

Nobody even knows what a centrist is... although they might think they do.

It is almost impossible not to put your slant on something. Just look at the different interpretations here on different events.

There is a big difference from slant and out right fabrication. Having a news producer seen behind the camera urging a protesting crowd to be louder or putting a (D) next to the name of a Republican in legal trouble awards FOX TV the extreme right title.

Yeah, it isn't corporate media. It's worse -- state-run media.

So how did left-wing PBS manage to survive the Bush years? Got any guesses on that one, Nostradamus?

Far right to extreme right is just plainly silly.

I would say a Limbaugh is far right and a Michael Savage is extreme.

The former would award the "blatant bias" medal only to said producer (albeit with an apparent lack of corrective measures by his/her bosses), and the latter could easily be a mistake (although the potential for bias to be the cause is obvious).

Even so, isolated and ambiguous incidents do not conclusive proof make.

I would guess that any given person with any given opinion could dredge up similar instances for any news agency they could wish to bash…Or acclaim.

As I said, it all depends on who you ask.

Thanks for proving my point.

I think Limbaugh is a Limbaughist, and Savage is to the far right.

I'd like to watch/listen to a debate between the two...

For the laughs, at the very least.

All of the MSM is a propaganda tool for the corporations.

Go turn on PBS and discover left-wing media.

The whole left to right description of the media makes no sense. Political philosophy does not flow along a continuum from left to right (or right to left).

The fact is, all corporate media is corporatist. i.e. fascist. There is a class war going on in this country. It will be over and the middle class will be completely destroyed before they are even aware they are being attacked.

Of course you won't see any of this in the MSM. They are way too clever for that. The only mention of class war is when it is used as a pejorative.

The corporatist propaganda has been so effective that there is even a group, the tea party that wants to empower the corporations even more by defunding the government.

The TeaPartiers know something is wrong but they're too stupid to know what to do about it. They are like a herd of sheep in wolf country hoping some mountain lion will come and rescue them.

You're insane, but funny.

Luckily we mortals have you around to warn us of the TRVTH.

So will you be directing us to any links on Infowars, or are you saving that for later?
