Out of all of these pairs, who would you most like to see in a televised, moderated debate?

I'd REALLY like to see Glenn Beck vs. Jon Stewart

Here Here Jucon. We definitely need Jon Stewart on that list.

Maddow/O'Reilly

Jon Stewart is a comedian with a comedy show on a comedy channel. He doesn't belong on the list. Much like Whoopi Goldberg or Rosie O'Donnell or Jeff Foxworthy shouldn't be on the list.

I chose Coulter/Maddow.

I would prefer people of substance debating.

True, he show is a comedy show, but the man can debate and get to the truth of a matter far faster than any pundit I have ever seen. Getting to the heart of a matter is an essential skill for a good comedian.

That's great for a comedian. Still shouldn't be part of this list.

Yes. He is not a pundit. But he still does a better job at bringing out truth than any of the people on that list.

It's probably best that he be left out. This gives the hacks a chance at winning.

Beck vs Matthews......calm vs mouthfoamer

I chose Coulter/Maddow.

Me too-Maddow would be distracted lusting after Coulter:mrgreen:

They are also the two most intellectually powerful of those mentioned

I disagree.

The list only contains entertainers. Not one person on that list is anything other than an entertainer.

A comedian is also an entertainer.

Thus, a comedian has as much right to be on that list as these other entertainers.

true all are entertainers. Coulter's credentials are such that she would easily be able to hold a tenured seat at a major law school. The others perhaps speechwriters for various political hacks

Coulter and Maddow are the only one's on the list with legitimately impressive credentials as far as politics go, IMO.

Thus, a debate between those two may actually be worthwhile.

The rest are hack entertainers and nothing more.

Some even are less credentialed than Stewart is.
