What the title says. Just answer the poll. :)

I don't like any of those shows.

My pick is Morning Joe. Conservative points of view, and well balanced at that. Scarborough does not talk about birther issues, deather issues, or bash Obama for the sake of bashing Obama. He bashes Obama based on real issues. Other shows may do the same, but when I wake up in the morning, Morning Joe is pretty much the cup of coffee I need to get my mind working. I especially like Pat Buchanan's viewpoints on the show.

I personally don't like any of them. However, I haven't seen most of them either. I don't watch much TV :2wave:

Then pick other, and tell us which one. In other words, just read the instruction manual. LOL.

I wish I could comply but I don't need someone to tell me what to think so I tend to avoid those kinds of shows.

I've seen "Morning Joe," and I couldn't say that Joe Scarborough even bashes Obama. He addresses issues about the Obama presidency, but isn't hostile or venomous about it. In fact, I don't even see "Morning Joe" as conservative since they have a number of people with wide variety of political viewpoints. The show itself is neither conservative nor liberal in that regard.

Not trying to tell you what to think at all, since I did have a choice that said "other". DUH!!

I know what you are thinking, so in response, let me offer a little paraphrase here:

"My only regret is that I have but 10 choices to give for my poll".

Bingo. I call that intelligently debating against Obama.

Well, it's more than that too, though. Joe Scarborough isn't against all of Obama's decisions either. Sometimes he relates to Obama. That's another reason why I can watch it.

He's probably 50/50 actually... though he does well to let some idiots like Vandenhuvel (sp?) blather on about her views. They try to be balanced but usually it's 2/3 Progressive, 1/3 Conservative - which, for an MSNBC show is incredibly good.

Not you. The TV shows. I have yet to encounter one that does not massage the facts to fit their agenda.

I don't watch any of them on a regular basis, but the only two I watch even on a sporadic basis are Beck and the Factor, mostly to just listen to what Dennis Miller has to say.

I really miss Dennis Miller's HBO show.

I voted for Other, and that Other is "Fareed Zakaria GPS" on CNN on Sundays. It's pretty much the only show on the news channels that routinely looks at foreign affairs and international news, which I need because I get tired of all the yelling and bitching our politicos do about our domestic politics.

Of the ones listed, Meet the Press is probably my favorite. However, the show I watch the most is Hardball. Chris Matthews is certainly biased and partisan, but not an ideologue or hyper-partisan, and does a decent job of giving people with other views their time.

How do you define partisan? If I made this post and replaced Chris Matthews with Sean Hannity, you'd railroad me.

I think what is meant is that Chris Matthews will get tough on liberals as well as conservatives despite having liberal tendencies himself. This is unlike Sean Hannity, who slams liberals just for being liberals and praising conservatives just for being conservative.

I have not watched the Hannity show more than once or twice, so I do not know if it is a fair comparison or not.

I <3 Dennis Miller.

I don't watch any of those shows with any regularity. When I was a raging Republican partisan hack, I would have watched some of these, but I've drifted. So I prefer to read political commentary from all kinds of different sources and I don't watch TV for anything other than entertainment. I don't really see politics as entertaining... so, there you go.

I podcast all the Sunday morning talk shows. I think Face the Nation is better than the others. I couldn't care less about O'Reilly, Beck, Maddow, Olbermann, or any of the rest of them.

By the way, you forgot Washington Week with Gwen Ifill on PBS and FOX News Sunday with Chris Wallace. :D

No favorite, probably the best one is on PBS, where civility reigns. Ever watch C Span, that can be more boring than watching goldfish, but its honest and real.

I wish they would not take callers on CSPAN. The people who call in are, without exception, dumber than ****.
