The show itself is neither conservative nor liberal in that regard.
Bingo. I call that intelligently debating against Obama.

Well, it's more than that too, though. Joe Scarborough isn't against all of Obama's decisions either. Sometimes he relates to Obama. That's another reason why I can watch it.

He's probably 50/50 actually... though he does well to let some idiots like Vandenhuvel (sp?) blather on about her views. They try to be balanced but usually it's 2/3 Progressive, 1/3 Conservative - which, for an MSNBC show is incredibly good.
I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on whats being proposed here, hed agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute. - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

I know what you are thinking, so in response, let me offer a little paraphrase here:

Not you. The TV shows. I have yet to encounter one that does not massage the facts to fit their agenda.

I don't watch any of them on a regular basis, but the only two I watch even on a sporadic basis are Beck and the Factor, mostly to just listen to what Dennis Miller has to say.

I voted for Other, and that Other is "Fareed Zakaria GPS" on CNN on Sundays. It's pretty much the only show on the news channels that routinely looks at foreign affairs and international news, which I need because I get tired of all the yelling and bitching our politicos do about our domestic politics.

Of the ones listed, Meet the Press is probably my favorite. However, the show I watch the most is Hardball. Chris Matthews is certainly biased and partisan, but not an ideologue or hyper-partisan, and does a decent job of giving people with other views their time.

How do you define partisan? If I made this post and replaced Chris Matthews with Sean Hannity, you'd railroad me.

I think what is meant is that Chris Matthews will get tough on liberals as well as conservatives despite having liberal tendencies himself. This is unlike Sean Hannity, who slams liberals just for being liberals and praising conservatives just for being conservative.
