Reagan had a personality, so he wins, hands down.
Reagan today has more of a personality than the Messiah.
I don't like the Obama cult either. He is just a politician after all and he is part of the political elite.
But I still think the Reagan cult is more far out. It has been ages since he left office and right-wingers still go on and on about how fantastic he was, saving the world and all.
The Obama cult was pretty intense for as long as it lasted but it has lost its steam now. When Obama showed up and got elected people were relieved about the eight year hostage crisis that was the Bush administration ending. The hope for real reforms and a better system was chanelled into the Obama cult but now people has been disappointed about him just being another politician who hasn't ended the war, has not provided a reasonable health care reform and has not turned the economy into something better. I think the Obama cult is already over now.
But the cultist adoration of the terrorist-supporting Reagan seems to have no end.
Why do we have this need for superheroes to solve our problems? It seems like we need an Obama to defeat Bush as much as we need a Batman to defeat the Joker. Wouldn't it be better if people realised that their situation will not be improved by some political Superman and that they have themselves to rise up in order to turn things around?
The poor complain; they always do
But that’s just idle chatter
Our system brings reward to all
At least all those who matter.
I far as tell, this "poll" is really not much more than an opportunity for opposing views to take potshots replete with made up talking points at each other.
Thanks, but no thanks. Neither of the two was or is anything beyond mortal and I've yet to meet the person that actually thinks otherwise.

maybe the comparison should be reagan versus dubya
when it comes to lying about threats to spend taxpayer dollars on useless military programs:
Reagan admin ‘hyped Soviet failures into threats,’ documents show | Raw StoryIn its efforts to keep Congress funding huge military budgets in the 1980s, the Reagan administration exaggerated the threat from the Soviet Union's military projects, newly published documents show. ...
appears ronnie raygun lied about the soviet union military capability in the same way dubya bin lyin lied about the iraqi threat
