    Yes, it is interesting. On other tests I have done I have always come out intuitive rather than sensing and I am intuitive. However this test is exactly right for my astrological chart.

    Also I note how high I come on the feeling. (I think it was in the 80's) Thinking being air in the chart. I have absolutely no air in my chart. At the same time Jung saw feeling as a way to think - the way Indians he met in the US thought. Both astrologically and with these types we can use them in a creative or destructive way.

    ENTP: rational inventor. seems accurate, although I am more creative solution type rather than mad scientist type.

    You are:

    * slightly expressed extravert
    * moderately expressed intuitive personality
    * distinctively expressed thinking personality
    * moderately expressed perceiving personality

    I have took this in the past, and the NTP have always been a constant, while the introvert/extrovert part changes around on me, although it is always a small lean to either direction (and I always feel dissatisfied -as if it is an inaccurate representation of me regardless of which way it goes). I guess that borderline E/I makes sense since I am perfectly comfortable being alone, or in company, and I never really crave either, I suppose I am an omnivert. <-- see I even invent my own terms.

    I don't think that is true. In situations where I am extremely comfortable, I tend to have no higher desire to socialize than in situations where I am not comfortable. Also, even when I want to socialize, I simply do not know how. After studying this a while, I realized that the reason is because most of the information expressed during things like small talk and other rituals have no value to me. However, I suspect after some study of it, I could learn to fake it well enough that noone notices, and I would even enjoy exercising the skills. But exercising a skill is worlds apart from being interested.

    For me, it is about how well I know a person and how well they can deal with me because I (and most INTJ, I would imagine) do not think like most people do and that can be quite unsettling for others. I tend to not speak if I do not feel that the effort will produce useful results.

    Deep thinkers on this page and other political pages? What a joke. Most people on forums like this are fundamentalist creep, who just competes in uttering the ideals of the party they support and other mainstream political ideas pushed on them through the media.

    There are certainly exceptions, but the masses are definetely not deep thinkers.

    Agreed. Not a lot of deep thought displayed on this forum, and I've been around for many years now.
    If forum members are deep thinkers, they disguise it well.
    Perhaps, like me, they view this as a purely recreational exercise.

    I have to say, I am gradually becoming less inclined to flesh out my posts. I find most people here overlook the things I say... maybe because I'm not that partisan, and I'm not from the U.S.

    Yeah, pearls before swine.
    If you actually want to convey some sort of idea to the masses, it's always best to keep it short, simple, and concise.
    Sometimes, I just want to write, though.
    When I write one of my long-ass posts... that's not really meant to communicate anything to anybody. I don't really expect anybody here to read it, or understand it.
    I'm just writing because that's what I like to do.

    Because this is virtual world, we must use intuition or sensation to understand the nuances of communication (hence the split between "N's" and "S's".
    We are needing to think about responses as they do not happen instantaneously.
    We discuss our positions on things, often in strong ways.

    My guess is that we are here because of who we are. We are drawn to DP because of a consistent personality type. Now, that does not mean that those who do not fit into this "mold" are not drawn here. There are aspects of other personality types that can apply to DP and this form of communication, but if you look at the descriptors, DP attracts INTJ's and ISTJ's.

    This will all be in my book.
    Is this book real, or are you making it up? And if it's real, is this whole website just one elaborate psychological experiment? Because that would explain a lot.

    Most people overlook because they dont want to hear anything that parts with "their" ideology.

    What a bunch of condescending hog wash. It is a political debate forum on the Internet, how deep do you really think it is going to get?

    Most people are here debating for fun. Not to change the world. Anyone that thinks their point of view is somehow important is just fooling themselfs.

    If you want deep philosophical discussions, go to a circle jerk philosophy forum.
