I was discovering that life just simply isn't fair and bask in the unsung glory of knowing that each obstacle overcome along the way only adds to the satisfaction in the end. Nothing great, after all, was ever accomplished by anyone sulking in his or her misery.

I will not run away. I will fight and die right here where I stand. Texans don't run from ****. --I do plan on taking as many as I can with me, however.

Once Obamanomics/Obamaflation/Obamadebt 'does a number' on the US, bringing about the economic, governmental and societal collapse of same, it wont matter where you go, as the rest of the world will soon follow.

So, I am staying here as I know more people and am famliar with the territory.

Of course that makes no sense. Strawmen usually don't make any sense, that's why they are easy to defeat.

To explain, I did not say that living where you want to live is cowardly.

I said it was cowardly to "flee".

The OP asks "If you had to flee America". This means that this is not simply making a choice based on preference, because you must actually want to remain, but cannot do so without having to fight so instead choose to flee.

In essence, my statement was the exact opposite of what you have decided to morph it into. I'm saying it's cowardly to choose to "flee" instead of living where you want to and fighting for that.

If faced with the decision to flee or fight, I will choose fight because I find it cowardly to roll over and flee (although it is typically the safer alternative). That being said, I would probably send my family elsewhere in the interim to alleviate the risk to their lives that staying and fighting would present.

As I said above, I would more than likely send my family off to a safer place first.

If one is fleeing, the obviously one does NOT want to remain. And wishes to live elsewhere. Otherwise, they wouldn't be fleeing. Eh?

It definitely could be. Staying and fighting is always risky. But fleeing is not always a guaranteed safe way out either. Often, it only delays the same results.

    Mexico.

I'm going to retire there anyway. Might as well just start sooner.
